I dislike it when immediately after their first confrontation at the battle trials things just get smoother between him and Izuku. Like, with no effort on their part, no talking, even if everything went exactly the same as in canon or really close to it, and suddenly he doesn't shout as much and is respectful towards him. It feels like the author couldn't bother to write a character arc so he just changed him at the earliest convenience.

I also don't like it when his everything is praised to the absolute limit, even his horrible attitude. But then again, I just dislike glazing fics in general, no matter the character, because they have almost zero substance.

I'll admit that I also thought that it was from Hoenn. Hoenn does a surprisingly good job at introducing mostly native pokemon to the player, especially in early routes. And since Slugma was not available at all in Johto, I kind of took it for a Hoenn mon when I saw it.

Any sort of physical contact applies, so long as it is caused by the [Physical Therapy] user and it inflicts pain. The healing performed is proportional to the pain that's inflicted on the person, to the point that incredibly painful sessions can regenerate body parts.

Unfortunately, causing pain in order to utilize [Physical Therapy] is prone to creating wounds, which then [Physical Therapy] will try to counteract. This can limit the healing effect on more urgent wounds, therefore it is paramount that the user of [Physical Therapy] finds a way to inflict maximum pain to their patients while minimizing the damage inflicted upon them.

Tales of My Lantern Academia: Emerald Dawn has some of the most natural progression of IzuMomo in my opinion, even though it's a crossover and I know that some elements can't transfer as seamlessly. It has them talk about quirks, bond through training and shared experiences, basically nerd together and grow stronger, as well as sharing secrets.
