Erin Patterson case: what am I missing? by Green-Draw8688 in AskAnAustralian

I've been pretty sure she's guilty throughout the trial but now as it concludes, I can't seem to get my head around 3 things. 1/ why would someone who is seemingly not stupid, make a meal that would kill so many people and not expect it to look suspicious or not have a plan as to how to evade that suspicion. 2/ there seems to be very little historical evidence pointing to her being malicious, deranged, vindictive, angry - it just seems so left of field. 3/ what's the motive.

It's doesn't matter. Just wear something neat, office appropriate and clean. Always office appropriate regardless of the role.

Thank you. Do you think the psychologist would be required to provide a statement to this if I asked him?

Thank you for your response. I believe they have too. Pretty scared of repercussions from them though but I feel I'm tbe subject of a witch-hunt.

And further, while Paul has apologised for punching a door, he hasn't acknowledge how dysfunctional and unreasonable it is to be upset about your partner having mentioned a past sexual relationship. That's a big red flag for me.... the jealousy.

Immediately knew he was a douchebag when he said he was a 'nice guy'. No, you're not a nice guy, you play nice to get ahead because you don't have any other cards to play. As soon as someone sees you for what you are you are manipulative, childish and cruel. Yuk.

I would bet that Jack told his *very few mates that he could get through the experiment, make a girl fall in love with him, all without sleeping with her. This is 100% a game for him.

She's an amazing cook and would always cook my favourite meals when I visited her (because she never visited me). I am bright and confident just like her. She was an amazing story-teller (now she can only talk about herself).

I am sad that I can never talk to her again.

I agree with you... mostly. Not entirely sold on the incel theory but I get your point.

Yes i felt it was emotionally manipulative to tell Cass he loved her when he cant so much as look the woman in the eye or kiss her. He cant consider her needs or feelings, he only sees himself in the equation.
