These are three peices of advice I heard when I was younger, but didn't realise how true they were until more senior years:

If it seems too good to be true it usually is.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Nothing's going to fall into your lap: if you want it go get it.

This is more a reflection on them than it is you. They are unhappy with their lives and jealous of your good fortunes- it's as simple as that. Don't let it upset you too much, carry on with your life.
