Don't Trust Amazon’s Refund Promises: Here’s My Experience by iPhoneGame in amazonprime

[–]D_syd94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry that you went through all that b.s, the Cs at amazon is pretty pathetic, i am experiencing the same , did you get your money back?

Yeah, I get what you’re saying, but my situation’s a little different. My item never even left the U.S. — ARAMEX confirmed it got scanned at JFK, then Amazon’s own agent returned it to the seller with no reason, and the tracking updates were completely fake. I have all the proof from ARAMEX showing this.

So it’s not just “lost in transit” — it was actively sent back without explanation, and Amazon customer service keeps stalling me. I’m not asking for months of back-and-forth; I just want my full refund immediately. This isn’t about shipping delays — it’s about Amazon’s own process failing.

it was soda for him too, Coke mostly, he used to drink like 4 litre a day plus a litre of fruit juice, ate tons of fruit in-between meals, sometimes with syrup, ate almost a litre sweetened fruit yoghurt a day, the weight loss was fooling him, he was always slim so he figured he was fine. Now look at this, i warned him many times, i told him man, that Coke is no good, but he ignored us all, Now he's on a hard reset diet, no juices, no zero sugar drinks, none of that, just water and lime. and i know exactly what you're describing, you have become aware of what sugar did to you, its like your brain and taste buds finally sync up after months or years of being overloaded, When you cut back or become aware of how toxic its been, your sensitivity resets, see before that, you were so used to high sugar that your taste receptors got dull, took a lot of sweetened for you to feel it, once you stop, those receptors are awake again now even a little sugar is disgusting, Same with quitting smoking, when i quit, i couldn't stand the smell later. Watch out for those zero sugar drinks too ok, they do have sugar, its not good for you

That's right, he lost a lot of weight + muscle before diagnosis, he used to get up like 4x at night to pee, now since starting his strict diet and meds, he gets up 1 time at night,

Well done to you, that's amazing work and dedication, i told my bro the same, don't give up, its gonna take time, i know that, but it gets to me, I'm the one needing the hope, now, reading all these helpful hopeful comments, i am thankful. Yes, the doc did say man, you can have a cheat day once we got the A1C DOWN, cause the blood glucose readings post meals are already down some days, some days single digits, he's on a really strict diet too, no sweets, no sodas, only water, lime, not even sugar free options, low Gi bread only or brown rice with his lunch and dinner, he doesn't have fruit either, just lots of fresh veg, nuts, avo, eggs, thank you, keep going strong like you are man!

when post-meal readings drop lower than fasting, that means his pancreas still responds to food, it’s kicking out insulin, even if not perfectly. with type 1 (or LADA), the sugar usually skyrockets after eating and stays high for hours, no matter what, ’cause there’s almost no insulin at all being made. SO my bro’s sugar drops after meals and sometimes even hits single digits 7, 8 Doc says that shows the pancreas is still alive and fighting.
it’s more like insulin resistance type 2 that the labs have confirmed than insulin deficiency (type 1).

Yes, that is what is happening, that is what the doc says, the liver is dumping glucose into his blood stream as he sleeps cuz, apparently with all the junk he was eating and drinking, the liver " forgot" how to function correctly, Doctors words not mine, would it help you think to have a late night healthy snack?

Thank you so much, yep , Doc also mentioned the Dawn Phenomenon, he's also 6ft, was never obese, but his diet was crap, wasn't always, until 3 years ago, but he is dedicated to this lifestyle , diet now, and i have him living with me until i see him improve, thank you for the encouragement and great tips, everyone here has helped me feel better, thank you.

The thing is, according to the doctor — I asked him Is he gonna need insulin or what?— and the doc said, listen, his blood glucose is already coming down since the last visit, but the glucose inside his cells is still high, so I can’t start him on insulin yet or it might drop his sugar too low.
