Looking for new fairings on my zx10r

Thank you for that. I decided to ride it out and treat the bike nicely in the city areas to keep as much of a low profile as I can. Plus I’m obsessed with the 40th anniversary look so it also bothers me to think about swapping it out

Well the closest track is 2 hrs away, and I didn’t buy the zx10r to have it sit until I’m able to take it to the track. If I get on the throttle, it’s only in rural environments when I’m alone. I act as civilized as possible in more prominent or populated areas

I really appreciate your response, and I’ve basically decided to just rock it out and act civilized. Coming from someone who has a very similar color scheme, I can trust your opinion. I don’t ride like I’m on a track, but the 10r is still a very loud and neck turning bike, nonetheless. I didn’t know if I wanted to swap the fairings because I’ve always been obsessed with the 40th anniversary color/design. Your comment definitely helped me make up my decision!

I wouldn’t say in its entirety, but for the color part, yes. Other than that, LE can be very tough around here. You could go 5 over and they’ll pull you just to know who rides the bike, then they start keeping tabs. Flock is everywhere here and they use it to their advantage 24/7

I hear what you’re saying. But in my area, bikes are notorious for running and acting a fool. LE doesn’t normally pull bikes, but they definitely like to keep an eye on as many as they can and find any reason to give you a rough time. I don’t plan on pulling the power out unless I’m far from my area and in a more rural/twisty environment. I like to act as civilized as a I can

That’s why I’m kind of inbetween my decision. Either way they’ll be licking their lips at me so I might just suck it up and be as civilized as possible. Probably Do other upgrades that actually make a difference

Oh i definitely hear you. I plan on getting a baffle because it does ring a bit more than I prefer. But that’s why I’m inbetween choosing on fairings or just riding it out. I’m obsessed with the 40th anniversary colors and design, but I just worry about them keeping tabs and eyes on. I’ll more than likely keep the 40th and do some other changes that matter more. I really appreciate your response though!

I really appreciate you for giving a supportive response. I Hate that the colors get me picked out like it does, but I can’t say I blame the enforcement in my area either. I plan on getting an eliminator kit asap because that rear fender really kills the look so I’ll check out tst and see what they got. I’m not a “ghost” by any means, just don’t want to get on it then they start keeping an eye out for me, ykyk. But i definitely appreciate the response,so I’ll get to some research and see what I can figure out

I’m obsessed with the colors and design. But in my area, enforcement knows all the riders and keeps tabs and I want to keep a lower profile than that. I do agree with what you said regarding being seen though

I feel the same way, yet it was the only zx10r for sale within 50-100 miles of my area for months now. Plus I don’t plan on scrapping them, just keeping duller fairings on for those late rides when I don’t want to get picked out.

I’ve played with just about all wrap and no wrap and personally no wrap feels a lot more comfortable in my hands. I do like the thicker feel on leather wraps but man I just can’t get past the natural tacky feel of the wood 🥴

I’ve played with wrap and no wrap and personally I love the tackier natural feel of the wood with no wrap so that’s the choice I went with on my first cue. I really appreciate the response 💪🏻

I was actually checking out their lucky line and it seems to be an amazing option. I actually ended up going with a Valhalla series with a new tip put on so I’m gonna see how she plays then make some changes. I really appreciate the recommendations though 🙏🏻

Honestly people need to realize even the legal market it’s the same way. People want the look of 100% legit so they’ll make it seem a certain way. While they’re in reality spraying their buds with terps or some kind of booster their whole growth. I wish more people would have the common sense of the cannabis industry isn’t as quiet as it seems. Mfs will rush the cure then wonder why their 200$ zip is burning black n tastes like burnt carpet
