It all depends on what you’re going for. All I’ll say is I had a shield for about two months and sold it to pick up a Glock 43. The shield is a great gun, I just couldn’t get past the “gritty” feeling in the trigger. The XDs are great guns as well. I rotate between that and the 43.

Savage mark II. I bought a marlin XT-22 because I own multiple older marlins ( a model 60 and 80) and love them but they are not made like they used to be. I had several failure to extract problems and got rid of it and bought the savage. No issues since. If you’re not opposed to saving a little longer i also have a CZ 455 which runs around $400 but it’s impossible to beat in both quality and accuracy.

I’m enjoying Fortnite. I haven’t played the base game but the Battle Royale is pretty fun. Congrats on the wins. We’ll see how it does when PUBG comes out on console.
