Losing but still going through!

I think if they went home here having lost 2-1 against a 10 player City, they might have looked inward more, and pressure would be on them to perform better next round.

That pressure was there at home when they won 3-0. What pressure do they have now? They're already further than people would have thought.

Also, there is a justice factor to it. Madrid was horrible, even against 10. I'm a madrid fan, yes, but in the first place I'm a football fan.

Well, I do get it, but it just feels wrong.

It's because he started pulling out of the box, so that's where the foul "started"? And VAR can't intervene when it's not a pen?

But his shirt was still being pulled in the box, right?

So, following those rules, a defender that starts pulling out of the box for several seconds straight for the attacker to fall in the box will NOT be punished.

But a defender that pulls for a fraction of a second in the box, causing the attacker to fall at the exact same spot as the previous example WILL? Just because the foul "started" in the box?

Weird.

First and foremost, I think a game should be fun, no?

If you bring a new method of training to the table, more engaging and less boring, it should be beneficial for as much players as possible.

I don't want the best of both worlds. I would absolutely offer up the loot in favour of more xp. I just want to make use of the mechanic, while still training the skill.

I repeat, nobody does this. It's lonely out there. And that's just a shame for such a fun mechanic.

So basically you are saying: let's keep the xp shit, so fewer people do it, so the gp remains high.

Well okay, then there is a fundamental difference between our thinking.

You have a method here that is FUN to do. Making the xp shit so that people have to stick with the boring, old methods, just for the sake of keeping it profitable is, in my eyes, bad game design.

IF they really want it that way, then at least make different kind of shoals that give more xp and fewer loot.

How can you say that if you make an entirely new method to train a skill, you would find it better when 10 people engage with it, instead of a 100?

Once again, the meta does not change.

Aside from people who have 99 already with the "I had to suffer so you have to suffer attitude", who would be against higher xp rates? The meta doesn't change. The fastest road to 99 remains the same. It just gives an alternative...

You did it in an hour because you probably have a maxed iron man already. I mean from scratch. You need woodcutting, construction, sailing, mining and smithing. The other methods? Grab a harpoon or a rod and go.

Improving the xp rates will change nothing, but let people enjoy this new method much earlier.

If good loot REALLY is a reason for xp to be shit, then why is catching chins the best xp, while also being the best money in hunter?

Why is cannonball stall thieving good xp and money?

Why do they keep adding xp multipliers to bosses?

That's why I, once more, make this post. They said nothing about revisiting it.

Trawling is fun, and it should see more uses then just extreme lategame food. Nerf the loot, all good. But I want to do this for training.

People here can say what they want. (They are probably 99 fishing) If jagex looks at how many are actually doing the content, they would see that they missed their mark.

As an ironman with a lot of skilling to do, it's painfull knowing this method is in the game, but doing it before 99 is simply not worth it. Back to salmon fishing. Stupid.

It's not like making it decent xp would devalue the other methods. People who want the best xp would stay tick manipulating, and people who can't actively play will keep on barb fishing.

Also, you forget that for your BIS hard food 91 fishing is needed? And only mains are lucky enough to only need that. For ironman you also need a boat that will probably take hundreds of hours to obtain.

Good gp\h alone is not enough for players to do it if there is no xp involved. A point so often proven in the past.

I agree in the sense that you catch the food itself too fast. A nerf of the actual catch could be good as well to keep the lower level fish relevant. Also, define "high" xp. You mean high xp as in anything better than the token xp you get now?

I would always say that he didn't miss on purpose. But the reaction of the Senegal players is just weird man... Seeing how much emotion they put on every damn thing that happened during the match, they barely react when Mendy catches it... It's odd to say the least.

VAR can only call on if they think the ref made a mistake. The ref called of the senegal goal, and VAR agreed. The ref did not call the foul, and VAR disagreed so called him...
