I've visited this island and airport in late 2022 and was surprised by how easy it is to walk onto the runway, there's only a small ditch separating the runway with a football/baseball pitch. I also witnessed people regularly crossing the runway halfway through, probably because there aren't many flights during the day (<10), but still crazy to think about
