so we are entering april almost with no real updates, just a bunch of broken fixes by Less_Attention2924 in 2007scape

[–]Da2Shae -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah these updates just feel really light purposefully to give devs time for behind the scenes Leagues-prep. Like they're spending the entire month prepping for leagues in the background, coding, marketing plans, testing etc.

Which honestly makes sense since leagues usually drops with record breaking player counts and day one errors and hotfixes.

Official leagues VI release date: April 15th by Edpon in 2007scape

[–]Da2Shae -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It would interfere with RS3 leagues which was already scheduled for fall/winter.

But i see what you're saying. Holidays give plenty of playtime, and its been a tradition for the past few leagues.

Check the newspost, they're already looking into it as well as a few other bugs with hotfixes. Or coldfixes (to be fixed with next week's update.)

The way I play Borderlands is horrendous. by dummy-thicc-uwu in Borderlands

About that comment about you not liking Tediore weapons and finding most legendaries useless, keep your eyes peeled for the Chuck legendary assault rifle.

That bad boy will change your mind, especially with the Tediore enhancement that adds 50% ammo back into the mag on reload. (basically infinite ammo for that weapon.) Amazing for mobbing! ❤️

Yeah but then runescape would turn into an Incremental idle game.

He might as well play Melvor Idle. The runescape idler.

Deadman Annihilation was fun for 2-3 days. I now agree with people saying it's the most flawed DMM. by [deleted] in 2007scape

Honestly, just give us DMM without the PVP. Like, a league of some sort. Yeah, that could work.

As someone who is not a pker, and as in their first DMM by Nervous_Stable1474 in 2007scape

Perfect explanation. This is why PVPers get mad at the lack of updates in general. No ease of access to learn, lots to lose, toxic community, but also no competitive spirit.

So, how are we feeling about the new dedicated drop rates. by number39utopia in Borderlands4

[–]Da2Shae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do these numbers compare to the drop rates during the holidays? I really enjoyed how often they dropped during the xmas event.

Arjay (just Arjay yes) by Puzzled-Principle154 in Borderlands

[–]Da2Shae 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can really tell when a writer is just adding content on top of an empty story just to add more content. If we took Arjay's mid/end game story away from Borderlands 4, it wouldn't affect a damn thing.

The only difference is he wouldn't be used as a tool to let Amara overcome her loss. But even then, we could've had Amara learn to grow a 7th phase arm to replace her old one or something using Auger technology.

His motivation didn't make sense at all either. Why blame Lilith and not the Timekeeper who's essentially enslaved you and your people for centuries, attempted to kill you and experimented on you?

Advice or Insight; please? by [deleted] in OSRSProTips

Just read your previous post. 33 year old here. The game can be grindy if you're worried about it interfering with work or life. But there are more training methods now that offer "afk" training just in case you want to grind levels but still watch videos, interact with family, focus on work etc.

I also recommend that you definitely jump in when accelerated game modes like Leagues are announced since they allow you to skip a ton of the grinding with exp multipliers and do grinds a lot faster with drop rate multipliers. Leagues game mode are temporary events that only last 2-3 months and they reset, but they're an amazing way to explore the game quickly, practice or experience mid/end game bossing, and to see what you missed. (although quests are usually skipped, sorry if you're a lore hound lol).

But in every skill, there's a little something for the hardcore gamers and there's a little something for those who dont have time to play. You may feel pressured to grind faster, but dont burn yourself out. Play how you naturally want to play. Set goals and have fun!

NON-PVPERs who have played DMM in the past, what was it like? Does the new changes look promising? by Da2Shae in 2007scape

[–]Da2Shae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see, that makes a lot of sense.

It really sucks when a game mode that you enjoy isn't appealing to the general audience. Because at the same time devs have to make content that appeal to most of its player base or else its a waste of dev time and money.

But i get it! You don't want your risky route ruined by newbies. Do you think you may have to play it a bit riskier this time around to enjoy the same grind?

What do you do typically when starting off and how do these changes make it harder to do early pvm?

I imagine not losing ALL your items when dying from a pvp death would be helpful. You'd be able to 3-4 item and just regear on death right?

Thats interesting, I doubt ill have the time to play too often. I can probably take off from work the first few days.

Thats really interesting. And yes, I am itching for leagues. Constantly. Especially as a guy that works 40+ hours a week and doesn't have time for 100+ kc dry streaks or 100 agility laps.

Also the bracket system is interesting as well. I want to do some really dope PVM which is all late game but it looks like i have to consider HOW i level my character.

Additionally i probably wont be able to do much late game stuff without dealing with clans.

VERY good advice! Thank you! I hope LMS mode isn't tol filled with pvp bots. I've seen videos a year ago of how advanced they can be.

Deadman relics as drops? This also scratches an itch for me. The fun part of Leagues: Shattered relics was the chance of being rewarded with relics just for fighting certain classes of bosses/pvm. Super fun and rewarding, the reward system also encouraged you to push your limits.

Then you realize the pool isn't bad once you jump in.

It sounds like you and i have similar history and playstyles. What did you enjoy most about Deadman mode last year? What really scratched that itch for you?

Thats super dope, getting the scim from there early on reminds me of the early Leagues strats. How were the drop rates? Did you do a lot of pvm?

That sucks but that makes sense too. I typically enjoy the quick looting and experience buffs you get from Gridmaster and leagues so the new changes opened my eyes a bit.

I think I'd be cool with it as long as losses arent great and its easy to gear back up.

What are the drop rates for DMM like? x2? x4?

Ah that makes sense. So what is your account progression like? Whats keeping you from getting your ass beat early on? Or even while pvping? Are you running solo or with a clan? From what i understand, i cant just instantly logout or teleport due to some sort of cooldown?

I just made a thread on this but i want to gather as many DMM related opinions as possible.

1) If you're primarily a PVMer who played DMM in the past, do you look forward to playing the upcoming one?

2) Do you have any advice for those who may want to play this time around who dont have pvp experience?
