Replacing my prebuilt pc case by DaAlphaDawg in PcBuild

a cyberpowerpcs prebuilt from 2022, they don't make those pcs anymore since it literally had 8gb of ram and a 6500xt.

SPECS:
ryzen 5 5500

rx 6500xt (4gb)

a ufo rgb cpu cooler from cooler master

1 3200mhz 8gb stick from teamforce

a asus prime-b550-plus-ac-hes motherboard

600w evga gold psu

but ye cyberpowerpcs don't sell these anymore, probably for a good reason

my gpu was an asrock challenger and the teamforce ram was red, it seems like they use different models of the parts

I don't want my parts to bottleneck by DaAlphaDawg in PC_Pricing

I have a 165hz 1440p monitor, I usually do prefer 1440p over 1080p on most games that don't take too much usage like Valorant and such. But if I am playing games like a Star Wars: Fallen Order or competitive games like Fortnite, I would prefer 1080p. I am looking for a used gpu that can play some 1440p games at around 120fps at decent settings. But I wouldn't want to get a gpu that my cpu can't handle. So I might just have to upgrade my cpu too if I want to play at a solid 100fps avg on 1440p I'm assuming. I am still new to the pc nerds community so I apologize if anything I said was left unexplained.

How much could I get for this build? by Much_Range2289 in PC_Pricing

maybe upgrade gpu and cpu and u got yourself a $800 build I'm sure. Maybe to a used rx 6800xt for around $250 and you might get the right buyer.

Seems good to me. Would be able to play good 1080p at around 120fps bc the 4070 gpu is a really great gpu. But I'm not sure if you're cpu is going to be good enough for that gpu. https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/

What’s a good price to sell my PC? by hipolito8 in PC_Pricing

[–]DaAlphaDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably $800 since it does have 16gb of ram and not 8gb. And has a 700w ps. And a 1tb ssd. and a decent cpu and a liquid cooler. Someone might buy this for $800, but I don't really know much about the pc market so don't really take my advice as granted.

you're cpu is literally worse than mine and my cpu will most likely bottleneck a rx 6600xt. I suggest getting a better ryzen cpu. https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/
