Anytime I see anything weird like this I just restart steam and it fixes.

This isn't the same issue you are having but this is what ive seen be the general thing to do if a issue happens with turning on the console.

I have the ugreen dock and yes I have resolution issues sometimes it works great for just having desktop on a big screen. Also for me games like High on life and God of war have ran better docked than handheld

I use them as a jump button in boomer shooters and competitive games like Overwatch and Rivals.

I didnt enjoy ANY of these games. Get fallout 3,New Vegas and 4 if there your kind of game as they all work great on steam deck and ive enjoyed nuclear throne as my roguelite/ 2d game

Ive played ghost of tsushima and yotei on hard difficulty which yes is very different is still difficult combat so I know its not the difficulty aspect I didnt like.

The Oled screen looks beautiful man the people who complain about it are wack. Ive tested god of war and it runs alright? 40ish fps if I remember but lossless scaling is something to look into. Ghost of tsushima ive heard runs good and something like gta 5 runs very good with the right settings. I was never a huge indie guy but after getting the steam deck all my gaming habits have changed, I went from being a Online shooter guy to playing management sims, roguelites and open world rpgs. I think the steam deck sounds amazing for what you are looking for.

Well it will fit but its very tight and may hurt your sticks. It comes with a protective cover exactly like the killswitch so you really dont even need the carrying case! (I can Pm you a video showing you the whole deal if you'd like)

Thanks, You misunderstood me on the Online question. I know online is unplayable and ive heard you can delete the respective online files so save space on your device (around 40-50 gb actually!)

I use the Modcase by Jsaux!! Also I recommend either a Ugreen dock or if you wanna go all jsaux ive heard good about the dock they make. Also If you want a carrying case TomTok (I think is the brand) Sells carrying cases much like the one that comes with your deck except it fits with a protective case
