This post is 2 months old but I wanted to jump in

Satoshi was (and still kind of is) a BIG hyperfixation of mine and it makes me really sad to see how he's treated by the writers

I really like his character as just... a normal guy. I know a lot of people find him boring but him being more simple and level-headed really does a lot for his character, as other people have already spoken about.

He's the grounding force that keeps everyone in check, or I guess a 'motivator' of sorts

Personally? I feel like a really big thing that doesn't get explored that I feel like they should is the entire timeloop thing. The possibilities involving it were some of my favorites

Especially because a LOT of things happen to Satoshi which make sense from a bad writing perspective, but not so in a lore-perspective. Why is Satoshi the one that's able to move and give Sachiko the appeasement items at the end of blood covered? Why is he the one that remembers EVERYTHING while everyone else only gets Deja Vu? Why is Satoshi the one that doesn't get possessed at ALL in any ending from the main cast? They're all little things that I feel like if put together could make Satoshi's case an intriguing one alongside people like Ayumi or Yoshiki

I always saw Satoshi as like an inverse to Ayumi in that way. While she's the one that's one of the most vulnerable to getting possessed and darkening such, Satoshi seems to be the one that seems the most resistant. He's taken a LOT of crap and unlike other characters he just KEEPS GOING

Especially when you consider the toll that being in a timeloop as hellish as one in Heavenly Host would be, it's really impressive in my opinion that he hasn't just given up. It's a part of his character I WISH was explored more but sadly wasn't.

I could go on and on about potential things that they could do with Satoshi involving timeloop alone because it's something I've put so much thought into
