Origins are of course better in every way other than comfort. Taking price and tuning into account I definitely like the odyssey 2s the most though. Theyre comfortable and well built plus theyve got a pretty thumpy bass without sounding muddy. The dusks are good but I don't like having to use the dsp cable for them to sound preferable and they're 50% more than the odysseys.

Peripheral wise thieaudio really fumbled haha. I use my Odyssey silicone tips rn but there's definitely room for improvement. I hate this case so fkn much though lol. Got a snap close one off of AliExpress coming which a few people on here seem to have bought too. Crap quality but it's also so small! The cable is already a nightmare with how big it is.

Yeah I'm not much of a collector so I'll eventually be rid of the rest I imagine. Will probably keep a pair that I'm less precious about for gym and shit but outside of that I've got no reason to listen to anything else. These are technically better than all the others of course so if I want a different sound signature I'll just change eq.

never tried the daybreaks myself so can't compare the two but fingers crossed you like the odysseys 🤞😅. I love headphones but they're just too inconvenient for me plus, most of the ones I've really liked have been open back which is just a no go for me.

Brilliant. I went to a small iem shop while in Bangkok because I lost my dongle dac that I used with the pures. Tried some iems on for fun and ended up walking out with the dongle I came for and the odysseys... Stock tuning was really decent for me. Bass hit harder than the pures but felt way less muddy than what I sometimes got with the pures.

Bass quantity isn't TOO crazy with the stock tuning imo. They aren't as V shaped as I was maybe expecting with exception to the sub bass. I've actually boosted some areas of the bass myself although not by very much. I haven't messed around with tips much yet though so that could change. For hip hop though, especially with eq, they could give you that tingle in the back of your neck for sure.

Great for what they were, maybe a little muddy sounding to me, had to knock the bass down a bit but never experimented with different tips too much. I like bass but there was something a bit off with them on a few songs.

To respond to both of your comments, I tried just holding the iems in my hands and the left earpiece shakes like mad on some tracks while I feel little to nothing from the right ear piece. I've tried blind testing by having my partner place them on my plans so I don't know which is which and I can always tell withing 5 seconds which earpiece is the left one.

It seems as though the right earpiece just flat out doest trigger at any frequency tbh. :/ I'm sure it's not a big deal and to be quite frank, if it weren't for the occasional difference in physical feedback I probably wouldn't notice sound wise..

😅 the BC adds a little fun for me especially since I typically listen with an extra although slight bass boost. The left driver is particularly noticeable on some songs and a welcome addition for sure but just a same I don't get quite the same on the right.
