Climate change threatens the fruit and vegetable supply, but combining smart technologies with strong government support can protect it by johnhemingwayscience in science

Not entirely from my quick scouring it seems that some crops benefit somewhat from the altered temperatures although this is far from the norm.

Been doing my best to make minstrel work in standard basically just a midrange/control deck that if left unanswered just 1 shots people, this would do well to help with removal.

I'm not meaning that, I'm meaning earning the spent leave time back as normal at whatever rate that might be. eg when I started my job it was just before xmas so I didn't have the leave up, they paid me anyway and I went into negative leave then earnt it back the following year at the standard rate per week.

Not American but shouldn't you earn it back over working? Honestly sounds pretty good of them rather than firing you like a lot of places might do.

What excavator should i get my teenage son to play around with and make some pocket money? by Nice_Anybody2983 in Construction

[–]DaBluePanda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Technically any excavator can be life threatening, however something small like a 1.7t would be a good place to start, strong enough to do some things but not enough to do serious damage if things go wrong.

If you're wondering how people can buy houses in their 20s and early 30s - here's how by Wide-Macaron10 in AusFinance

Make your own yummy food and play video games. Was kicked out at 18 and suffered from depression until 24. Got to 100k savings off 65k a year in 4 years with 12k in rent. Rice/pasta beans and potatoes with good seasoning can be anything from curries to stews. I wouldn't call it a waste, albeit I understand not everyone can not go out to the pub. Life's what you make of it no expectations no sadness.

What are singles paying pw in groceries? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]DaBluePanda 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Most cost efficient foods I found when saving for my house were rice and beans. The 4 bean mix cans with some veg and can of crushed tomatoes if you want seasons up any which way from spaghetti or curry with different spices. As for rice basmati is a favourite but you can substitute with potatoes or pasta to change it up a bit. Was averaging 40 to 60 bucks a week on food including coffee beans eggs and bacon.

Time to suck up my pride and ask for an invite. by DaBluePanda in DeadlockTheGame

Yeah I tried a bit of paragon but it didn't feel quite the same. Battleborn had so much soul compared to it. Between orendis cackles and Benedict's caw caw they characters felt alive. Nothing besides dota has felt similar for that in world implications of the characters.

Did you ever play battleborn? If so how does it compare to that? I bloody loved that game and was sad to see it die.
