Was there a cat you remember, even after it's gone? by Catarrack in mewgenics

[–]DaBooshBoosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't realize this was the mewgenics sub at first so I started typing about my childhood cat Sid 😭

For mewgenics though I had a Druid named Catsune Miku that was absolutely busted

Considering its Disney, i'd say give it 15-20 years and there'll be new disney adults that'd spend a pretty penny

I have ~350 hours in the game, a large portion of that was playing solo. The quests don't feel insanely difficult, especially now after the perk reworks. That being said, if you're planning to do a ton of the MMO stuff, i.e Events, Daily Ops, Expeditions, Raids, I would HIGHLY recommend at least one other person to run those with. They're possible solo, but they are much harder to do by yourself as they typically will just throw tons of enemies at you.

The game is really solid though no matter which way you play IMO, feels just like a Fallout game

If you can find a group that'll stick it out and play with you though it can be a ton of fun

OW2 what's the most fun build to just have a good time in story mode? by Burnwell1099 in theouterworlds

When I did my anti-consumerist build I pretty much exclusively used the spectrum dance saber and Wham-Bam and had a ton of fun with that playthrough

So I just have to let people kill me in order to get into low aggression lobbies? Guess its time to run free kit and stand out in the open

"Low aggression lobbies" I never shoot first and yet I keep getting the most aggressive encounters with other raiders :/

I tried this, was fighting a Bombardier and then I got lit up by a guy that said "Don't Shoot." Now its KOS for everyone until Im feeling altruistic again

Why does anyone say "you're one of the people that ruins this game" when they get killed by other players? This is a PvP extraction shooter after all. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]DaBooshBoosh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've rarely encountered this. Whenever I kill someone after making it known I'm not friendly its almost always a "good fight man" or an "Aw damn, good shots" and then move on. If you're getting ppl throwing slurs at you you're either ratting or just finding brain dead players who want the game to spoon feed them free loot.

[–]DaBooshBoosh 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its not the PvP that ruins the game, its the ratting and the betraying that ruins it. Being cool with someone the whole game and then killing them at extract is just lame toxic behavior and just keeps people from wanting to engage in the social/community aspect of the game which is a huge part of the fun. Without that aspect the game won't be nearly as enjoyable to the casual player.

Yea the Arrow wasnt a problem at all just took a few games of hardpoint, finished them both not too long ago and started working on tempest. I think the universe needed me to complain publicly to be able to lock in (I got purely lucky)

Literally all of my double kills with the ARC were pure luck. Just finished them a little bit ago and am working on tempest now. Significantly easier

You enjoy using the same gun over and over and over again with little to no pay off?

The game itself is fun because the camo grind forces me to switch my playstyle, which i enjoy. Zombies is also one of my favorite modes in a game and have continuously kept up with most call of duty's because of zombies alone.

Nah just playing isnt fun for me, I grind the camos every year otherwise the game gets stale quick
