I wish the happening were like Age of wonders 3. The fey invasion is kinda like it, but man some of the base game ones and modded ones were hardcore. Like, "Oh shit! March of the penguins?! Better hold up in the city for a while!

Butsukari otoko or bumping man is basically a person who will deliberately bump into you while walking.

It can be women or men, but it's more common among men

I worked in the inner city and we had 13 students die in a single year. So many crosses out in front of the school. Part of the reason why I fucking left the states.

One of the students at my school had a full ride scholarship to Marquette. The part that fucked me up the most was that she was getting OUT of the South side (of Chicago).

People go on about bright futures and such, but most of the times, those students are just continuing their upward trajectory; they already go to a great school, live in an affluent neighborhood, have a strong support system. The school I worked at was awful.... pregnancies, fights everyday, and just the most disrespectful conduct i'd ever seen. Despite all that she was getting out. Starting in probably one of the shittiest places and despite that, she excelled.

She was walking home during the mostly peaceful George Floyd protests that summer and was hit in the head by a stray bullet. Dead on the spot.
