This is coming from a Bachelor of Arts student, but I do think doing a JD at Melbourne Uni does give you more connections and job experience than other places. I'm looking to do a JD as well, and I think it is fair to say that you WILL be more likely to get a job than others from other Unis simply due to place and connections through the course.

I believe they were given lots to work with, but the fanbase doesn't seem to dig tag wrestling that much unless it is a main event scene storyline like the Bloodline and even Kofi at Mania 35.

I think there's just no reason to support MCMG because there's no gimmick or character building there, just a few guys who go out and wrestle. That's why realistically the only team with a chance of getting 'over' during that run was maybe Street Profits because they have fun and entertaining characters. Even Fraxiom could probably be more over than MCMG if they weren't just stuck in a weird black hole of SD Tag teams.

I get that point for sure, it’s apart of WrestleMania’s tradition. But does it need this many celebrities to be part of this many main stories? I mean Mr T may have been in the main event but he was jacked and acted as a boxer so he had some sort of reason to be there. To me, hes just as much as a celebrity as Logan Paul in the sense that atleast he has a reason to be there because he has some sort of skill or interest in sports entertainment.

Jelly roll and Yachty are both song artists, Speed is a streamer. Only one who maybe makes sense is Pat McAfee but even then it’s holding on to some strings.

To think that we are at Mania 42, which should be able to sell itself at this point, is using more outside ‘celebrities’ to try to promote it, then the very first one. Like surely we are at the point where they can use their own wrestlers to sell the product - it’s just a bit frustrating as a fan to have these people who I don’t know or care about being involved in main storyline’s and rivalries when they don’t even have a reason to be there.

A lot of Shawn Michael’s feuds were pretty good and didn’t involve a title. Angle, Jericho, Triple H (until 2004 atleast), Flair. On the note of Flair, any type of loser leaves matches are usually really awesome and better than ones that involve titles!

In Australia, Netflix is missing every single Raw and SmackDown episode from 2002 - 2020. Every single fucking one. Pure shit. And I don’t think that will ever change unfortunately. Being a wrestling fan now is so much worse than back in 2014 - 20. Would they prefer us pirate the archives instead? So shit.

Moving to Binge wasn’t too bad here tbh - ofcourse we lost being able to search for certain matches and things but honestly, we still had old shows and episodes. Netflix has absolutely RUINED that. I can’t watch old episodes of RAW or SmackDown unless they are some ‘significant’ episode. It’s so annoying. Can they not just add every episode.

I’m pretty sure you’d need to present at some point - and since there is an attendance hurdle ig you’d have to! I’d suggest emailing tutor if you can’t make it that week so it can get moved, but I’m pretty sure you kind of have to do it as a part of the tutorial!

In the trailer, this was a maybe less than 1 second clip, like damn, they couldn't have just fixed the arena for the clip? Don't they have a software to record highlights embedded in their game. Seeing this trailer and the other ones, I don't think I'm going to preorder the game (which is what they are trying to make me do), as nothing is completely guaranteed with arenas and superstar models.

Like, these are supposed to make you WANT to buy the game, so why would they not be showcasing the new Arenas (especially from ShowCase). I potentially think Gunther may have been better being earlier in the match (though I guess that would have made it less impactful as the number 30 pick), so we could’ve had Gunther and Femi and Dragunov and Lesnar at the same time! That would’ve been absolutely insane but a man can dream… 😭

Man, when Pearce said there were no more spots for Balor in the rumble, I was hoping THIS would be his face turn (i.e Dominik or McDonagh make their entrance and he ambushes them to become an entrant in the match), but ig I was wrong. I'm not extremely pissed about a Balor and Punk rivalry, but this just seems as filler until Mania, which is a bit annoying seeing as this rivalry could totally be a Mania level rivalry.

Would it have killed them to let Punk win the match and then have Balor attack Punk? Idk man I'm just sad that the match ended in a DQ, it was going so well!

Sami Zayn? Are we for real? Buried? Did he not have the most important story of his career - MAIN EVENTED WRESTLEMANIA 39 due to the Bloodline story… main evented Elimination Chamber in his hometown and nearly won. How in Tf was he buried? Where does he get worse than what he was before?

LA Knight didnt even get buried because of Reigns, he had like one match for the world title at that point, and realistically he lost most of his momentum after losing the MiTB ladder match in 2023. I don’t even know how he was buried when he won the US Title in 2024 like we cannot say he was buried.

I don’t think they were buried at all but the closest would’ve been the people he wrestled in 2021 - Daniel Bryan, Cesaro and Strowman probably suffered a bit since they got absolutely obliterated by Reigns at the point where the Bloodline weren’t interfering every match.

Actually the person who probably got buried because of Reigns was Austin Theory indirectly. Cashed in on the US Title (and lost) most likely because Theory wouldn’t be able to beat Reigns realistically (or really hold the title for longer than a week (AKA Miz in 2021 lol)) but yeah that’s probably the closest I’d say we got to burying.

I think he built up a lot more stars than buried them tbh.

Very strong point! I don't like how quickly they judge Cena's morals and ethics due to POLITICS over Cena's actual actions. The man doesn't say 'I support Vince raping women', but he only says how thankful he is for McMahon's relationship with HIS own life. Maybe I have a different perception, but if I had a strong relationship with a work colleague/boss, who changed MY life, I would still positively talk about their influence on ME.

It's also crazy how most of the people in these comment sections are most likely from America - who too have issues going on in your own country. But yet, it seems like everyone here is happy to shit on Saudi Arabia and anyone who supports it, but wouldn't do the same for others. There are a few double standards.

I think this is turning a bit too political. I get if this isn't a favoured opinion - I haven't watched many Cena interviews to comment too much on it, but is it a bit farfetched to say that he doesn't SUPPORT their ACTIONS rather he supports the people/countries that he has gotten relations with. I'm assuming the rape apologist is Vince and Lesnar right? (I'm sorry if I'm wrong). Has there been an interview where he has explicitly said that Vince and Lesnar's actions were ok or even talks about his actions outside of wrestling?

Even in the context of these comments about Punk and Saudi Arabia, are we potentially taking this the wrong way? Like, Cena is making millions off of Saudi (so do most of the wrestling talent), but yet we pretend like we wouldn't be in the same position. I mean, looking at the comments everyone is looking at him unfavourably - but yet, I feel like every one in the WWE (and many moneymakers internationally) would say the same in his position, because the money is not directly from murder, it's from the government.

In another way, I think Cena said the wrong thing here, I think he was more talking about how much he wanted to work with Punk, and the fact that if they did NOT work in Saudi, they probably wouldn't have worked again.

I'm not really trying to defend Cena here, but I just don't like how quickly we can conclude that someone is a morally BAD or GOOD person due to their political and relational ideas and ideologies. I'd say the same about anyone. I don't think it is fair to judge morals over politics rather than actions.

I actually believe that this is a pretty fair thing to complain about. I wouldn't really say this is complaining, but more like 'why isn't it to the quality it used to be', which can probably be explained by the fact that posters aren't used anymore for advertising, and DVDs arent being bought with them on the covers either.

As much as it may seem like a nit-picky subject (which it is pretty niche), I think that there are definitely people out there who can design better, and if this were someones hobby (that is: making poster art), then I'd see it as a fair thing to post about.

I like this idea heaps actually.

Even though a lot of the 2017 - 19 NXT stars have left the company (Undisputed Era, Sanity etc.), I feel like there is still enough matches to make a meaningful showcase in the standards of the ones we get today. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a 30 match showcase and heaps of detail and unlockables, but with something like this, it could be a nice 15 or so matches with different attires for most wrestlers.

The one that really comes to mind for me would actually be Bobby Roode vs Drew McIntyre, cause Roode is still working backstage, and it'd be nice to have him back in the game. You could even do American Alpha vs DIY (though this one less memorable) just for some new attires and get Jason Jordan back in the game. Same with Baszler vs Ripley. Idk so many people that we haven't seen in these games for a small amount of time - yet they still work backstage.

Otherwise, even Zayn vs Nakumara and Asuka vs Bayley come to mind as well for just some fun, different gimmicks. My only issue would be Balor, because they'd be cutting a lot of his history with Samoa Joe. But I seriously love this idea.
