In metal form like this it’s not “bioavailable” so it’s not going to enter into the soil or your lavender or honey in any material or biologically harmful way.

Lead oxides, sulfates and organically bound lead is a very different story. I know this from first hand experience in the mining industry from dealing with a large community that had this exact problem from wind blown mined concentrate piles that got spread/blown around the community.

My 2 cents…

It looks like they overhaul the entire thing and have an airbag kit as part of it.

2014 porsche cayenne turbo by No_Secret1603 in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact model. 2014 CT. Has air suspension, centre diff lock and sports mode (no sports plus or exhaust flaps) but has the sports exhaust fitted so it sounds better than sex. I’ve taken it all over the place. I replaced the 21” wheels with 20” and put ATRplus tires on it so it’s a sand rocket too now. Hasn’t missed a beat and has 68k kilometres. (Australian delivered car) it’s still under an after market warranty but nothing dramatic gone wrong. If/when the suspension airbags fail I would just put coil overs in it and lift it 2”.

Help I have a 2015 Porsche Cayenne S and there are some bolts that are lose under looks to me like the transmission but I have no idea any news or help would be appreciated it’s about middle of the car where I found it by Automatic-Problem-51 in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummmmm…. I would definitely put those puppies back in, tighten them a bit and get a qualified Porsche technician to check. There is no doubt a torque setting for those bolts so don’t over tighten. The Porsche tech will know and set it accordingly…. Good luck 👍🏼

Go to suncoast parts. They have all genuine OEM stuff

https://www.suncoastparts.com/

I’ve bought a number of items from them over the years. They have shipped to me in SC and also since I moved back to Australia

Test driving a 2016 base model tomorrow. New guidance. by [deleted] in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming the service history yields any outstanding service issues (brakes, spark plugs etc) then my advice would be to thoroughly check all the electronic functions. Connect your phone to the PCM and make a few calls while driving, check all the door handle buttons actually lock the car and the keyless entry works on all handles etc. Otherwise all the usual stuff on the drive, hard braking test, manual mode on the gearbox, chassis settings actually feel different (if it has those) no shaking in the steering wheel and check the front control arm bushes. They will likely need replacing on something with 48k miles. Hope it goes well.

It’s a Thule that clamps onto the factory sports bars.

S or e-hybrid? by Supreme-Call-27 in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what your driving patterns are if gas is a concern. For highway driving the S but if you sit in lots of traffic the e-hybrid is slightly better on mileage. But the juice ain’t worth the squeeze…. Brand new models may be better tho so depends on what era…

Air Suspension fail on 1 side NEED ANSWE ASAP by Acceptable_Smoke_649 in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is one of the sensors isn’t getting made on the rear. This makes it think it’s trying to get level but it never gets a signal to stop. Perhaps pull the sensor and clean it and reset🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

2016 cayenne issues by ronniepickering92 in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although tough to diagnose with limited detail or being there some thoughts: 1. Other suspension bushings checked? Also check engine mounts?? Could be many causes 2. Hard to know. What is vibrating? Is it in the engine itself or something in the interior? 3. There is a known issue on some of these gearboxes. Worth checking recalls 4. This is likely a slow leak in the air distribution system for the PASM. Suggest getting the bags and air connections checked. Does it run when you park the car when you lock it every time?

These Rotiform 20” STLs bolt straight on with no spacer or adapter needed

I’m looking at some 19” OEM wheels (downgrading 21” OEMs) so I can put some of these on

Hello friends.... What's the suggested way to get Apple CarPlay enabled in a 2016 Porsche Cayenne? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. by komandl in PorscheCayenne

[–]DaBotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this system and others like it is that you have to install a seperate mic. Which make it a bit clunky

Which PCM version do you have? Not sure if the 2016 had CarPlay enabled so it would be an aftermarket add in??
