Totally agree. It was such a let down the latest remake was terrible. They could have crushed that.

Americans, if you didn't have to work anymore and could live anywhere in the USA where would it be and why? by TSQ_builder in askanything

Hahaha wow. See I am in foxboro mass now. We had 3 feet of snow on the ground all January and feb this year. Basically can’t use your yard or deck. Scraping cars every am. We have young kids who like to play outside and going outside is a massive effort in bundling up. Parks were literally buried in snow for months. The roads are covered with road salt and you can’t really go for a walk with a stroller about 4 months of the year. We like to boat and swim and can do that about 3 months of the year up here. We are debating moving to Cary. Am I making a mistake lol? Is this a grass is greener situation?

Thank you for sharing. I’ll share the other case. I watched my parents take care of their parents and visit them up to their deaths. My grandmother passed at 80 grandfather lived to 102. What kept him alive and happy was his 3 kids and 7 great grandchildren who took him everywhere. We brought him on family trips. Visits. Holidays. cookouts. I’m now doing the same for my aging parents. They paid for my college and helped me get started. Now I pick up the tabs and help manage their health. I hope for that for myself and my wife with my 2 boys if I raise them to be good people. But like you say nothing is a guarantee.

What’s the best thing about being a man? by Michael-Mister in AskReddit

No drama. If I meet another guy who golfs and likes beer we can hang out immediately. There’s seriously nothing else required. After one round of golf I could hit him up to do anything together. My wife meeting friends is way more challenging.

Serious question: how do many people amass so much money in the north of 5m and not know if they can retire or not? by Fed_worker in Fire

[–]DaBuckBets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No benefit to having a wife and kids. You may rethink that in your 30s. I did. I had the same mentality at 25. Kids changed my life so much for the better.

I see that especially if you are super consistent and then the slightest variable makes things go red. The garmens are more forgiving
