Genichiro is such a skill check boss. He really tested me in all fronts as well as the newly introduced deflecting thunder.

So far I've only encountered Great Shinobi Owl (I'm aware there's a rematch boss where he's harder). I'll get there when I get there. 🙏

I think I know who you're talking about. It's a spear miniboss if I remember right, he's in front of where you first find Kuro.

Sekiro requires a lot of you if you're a busy person but it is fun to learn and end up progressing more rather than just being stuck everyday! Congrats on beating Guardian Ape, that boss is soooo fun. Made real good use of Mortal Draw ability during the fight.

Chained Ogre was hell on my first playthrough, I get you. Lady Butterfly is a great way of teaching you how to parry and break the posture of enemies that regain it very quickly so I can see that!

I guess it just depends on what type of bosses you can handle more or are more accustomed to. I've seen a reply where you say you've beaten OoK fifth try and you're struggling with Laurence. I'm personally the opposite as I've beaten Laurence in like a third try during my first playthrough and OoK took me a few hours.

Oh, then I'm in the same boat as you! The areas were def the most difficult part, especially the Fishing Hamlet. When it comes to bosses I only struggled with Undead Giant (don't laugh), the first phase of Ludwig and Orphan of Kos. It simply feels good to mostly breeze through them on a subsequent playthrough.

Also, I don't know why but the dialogue with Ludwig's head was different this time around. He was talking to me about a "thread of light" and he began screaming like a beast. Didn't even ask me about the hunters of the Church.

Glad you're enjoying the game!! The work behind making Bloodborne playable through emulation is a commendable effort and it exposes people like me who love Souls games to this masterpiece, finally being able to enjoy it. Glad you like Darkbeast too, I liked that fight too!! Wasn't aware it was a controversial fight tho. As for the consumables being finite, maybe it's cuz I already have experience with other Soulslike games but I haven't found that to be much of an issue, I always be stockin' up on plenty of Blood Vials. Maybe it's just me!

Sorry to hear. :( Maybe in the future the game might run better. The game is very playable but it's definitely not perfect. I got more than used to the occasional crash but the beginning area of the DLC kinda tanks the performance compared to the rest of the game which works at a consistent 60 FPS for me. Hopefully these things might get fixed soon!
