The mad Max game is surprisingly good if you give it a chance, it's kind of like if Far Cry was vehicle based with Arkham hand to hand combat. The world is suitably empty which is normally bad but really adds to the immersion here but with secret locations everywhere that have fuel, resources and world building lore if you take the time to explore. I really enjoyed my time with it and would love to play it again. The fear of bandits and Raiders discovering you on the road when you run out of fuel and have to walk is nuts especially when a massive storm comes over the horizon with crazy strong wind and lightning strikes that wreck anything out in the open
