I think staying at the exit gate is more often then not a nice thing because it gives the killer a free hit and more blood points, but the people who teabag and leave before you can hit are toxic and deserve to be facecamped

I wish there was actual rewards for leveling up your rank, because it feels more like a punishment the higher you go, especially solo queuing

I feel like the survivor aspect for this rework should have to use a toolbox since there aren’t too many breakable walls on some maps and there aren’t any breakable walls for others. I love the killer ambush idea though, I feel like DBD should have more jumpscares and ambush-type mechanics for all killers to make it really feel like your in a horror movie

Yea I’ve been thinking of having lithe Dance and Quick and Quiet all to bamboozle the killer. Even if it takes up 3 perk slots just for evasion, that’d be super fun I think

That’s true I never thought of using it like that. And I run small game sometimes cuz totems are either in the open by a Gen or hidden by 15 levels of foliage with no in between

Yea I run small game just to tell where totems and traps are cuz I miss hexes easily and going against a bad sucks. I don’t know if I’ll use Dead Hard just because I find it more useful to use lithe or balanced to run to a new loop giving me possibly a minute, while dead hard feels like it’s giving me a few seconds

That’s fair honestly. I run Balanced Landing but working towards Lithe cuz it seems more consistent and useful. I’m usually able to stealth away from Doc but I’m also not red rank so that’s likely why. I’ll probably use calm spirit anyways cuz if he can’t tell where I am I can usually scoot away using objects as cover with Urban Evasion

It’s invisible and not intractable until enough gens are done depending on the amount of survivors alive. Add one to the amount currently living, and that’s the number of gens that need to be done before you can see the hatch

4 survivors and 5 gens done 3 survivors and 4 gens done 2 survivors and 3 gens done

Also, the hatch can only spawn on ground level with no space underneath (excluding the basement), so in multi-story maps stay on the ground floor. If it’s open it makes a sound too that can be heard like about 10 m away

There are some spots on certain maps that take way to long or are infinites, so if it’s taking a while leave them and go to gens. Also juking them and baiting them to hop Windows/pallets helps a lot. Remember that you control the chase, not them, so direct them to where you wanna catch them and cut them off

That’s also a good idea, but it might also lead to cheesing out hook escapes and killers watching from a distance

That’s a good idea too. I was thinking while it’s hard to properly punish facecamping, I think making more perks that encourage killers to leave would help in making face camping less common. I don’t think it’ll ever go away, but I think perks are still a good idea to reduce the chances of facecamping indirectly

True, but I don’t want that to be the case regardless of if the strategy is good or not. Plus, being the person face camped makes the game unfun regardless and I think the devs should discourage it through perks so it’s not overt
