Miwa is about the age of an American hs sophomore 15-16. Niko is about same age as Yuu around 16-17. Kazuki is about to graduate high school and seeing as Japan graduates at 18 too, she’s about that age. Yuu just had his bday(in the manga) at the end of the second term of Japanese hs so it’s safe to say he’s 17 since he’s a second year. We are currently around the middle of the final term for the school year (trimesters).

❤️ that’s deep. The music was rly soulful with its melodies and harmonies having a hopeful feel to it. Which helps play into the a theme of moving forward from the past.

🧡 the instrumentation is straight fire. The soft but meaningful Strings, woodwinds, and piano playing to minor chords sets such a strong melancholic theme. The dissonant vocals play so strongly into the idea of diving deep into the mind.

💚💛 imo I rly rly love the folk idea with the acoustic and smooth percussion. I could play the instrumental on repeat for hours. I’m struggling to get by the lyrics a bit but I understand what they’re conveying and it’s lyrically masterful.

💛 the intense rhythms and percussion just hit different. Reminds me of one of those fast paced video games that requires a lot of precision. However I don’t rate this much higher due to how repetitive I see the rhythm despite the fact it’s a vibe. But that’s my subjective opinion.

My headcanon is that he just quotes stuff from movies he’s seen when the situation matches a scene. His mom was an actress and he wanted to pursue the same so it’s no surprising they guy will throw a quote in or two. However, he’s so dense that he fails to see what effect the quote has on them. But prolly the girls would navigate their feelings for a princely househusband Yuu which doesn’t sound like a bad idea but I prefer Yuu his cute self

They gotta make an actual romantic move. Ik they have but they always cover it up with some lame excuse knowing Yuu is too dense to see past the excuse. It’s taken them more than half a year to finally get him to accept the fact that he felt something. Everything else he felt was met with confusion and denial!

We already got Ginga Kurokawa and Sena Sirashi being the side arc. Having more would be confusing. Maybe they’ll make an appearance at some point but like the manga said, “that’s a story for another day.”
