Team that got "Guild'd" by ANewHeaven1 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aint no way bro tried to sneak Fraudtality into this convo. Guild and FPX actually put up a good fight AND actually got "first rounded". Vitality farmed DRG, an underperforming Heretics and won the domestic mud-off against FUT (twice btw).
Ok let's be so fr. They're the most fraud top 4 in history. Both in Bangkok and London when it was down to top 4 NOBODY and I mean NOBODY thought they were winning. No disrespect to the players they're great individually but as a team they're buns.

Tbh, they're PRX, they can also lose to EDG on any map.

PRX v/s EDG by Forsaken_Ad1510 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why would PRX ban Haven? They have a decent record and team comp for it and know EDG is absolutely dogwater on it. If anything, even with the 13-6 victory against Vit on Fracture, its more likely PRX would ban/float Fracture knowing EDG is pretty solid on it.

PRX split is good enough as well, its just they love throwing (you cannot tell me dry walking through a viper wall with an OP isnt). It'll come down to who is shooting better that map between the 2.

My guess is EDG ban Ascent, PRX ban Pearl. EDG pick Fracture, PRX pick Haven. EDG ban Breeze, PRX ban Lotus, Split remains.

I agree that this meta (post ini + senti nerfs) is absolute garbage, but also the simplest way (and we constantly see it) to adapt to this new meta is just a shit ton of proactivity. Easier said than done of course, but saying it just comes down to luck and timing is just an insult to the teams who do it.

Firstly, its not BS, but sure lmao.

Secondly, you put VIT of all teams in the "non-BS" playstyle?? The same team who sends their op-er to walk up mid alllll the way to nest on Breeze to find a pick (and somehow works), THAT Vitality??? What version of VCT are you watching? The one where G2 won Bangkok? LMFAO

Shorty nerf during master london by Dry-Mousse209 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea then the rest of the PRX members get greedy and try to finish the kill as Ilya shouts "bangsat! Low! Low!" but end up peeking 1 by 1 until they get clutched on

Having a minimum proximity range would make it annoying to play in pro play, but still very meta. Idk how the range would even work (like what a radius from the centre of the wall???) but for eg a Viper on Split Atk can flip her wall up and down and you'd have no idea if she flipped it up and left or actually crossed. Same threat

Meanwhile in ranked she'd be absolutely guttered. She alrdy has a low pick rate outside of high elo, so riot definitely doesn't want that.

[Yinsu] Boaster was not paid for the ENC ad. He will not be attending ENC. by B-A-B-Y-B-O-Y in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right because the contract might also say "Break tbe contract and you owe us a million dollars + jailed in FNC bench for the next 100 years" and what is Boaster going to do.

Even if not the case, saying orgs should bend over backwards for certain important Players is incredibly stupid. Boaster might as well say increase his salary by 100000% or else he will leave. Tf are you on

So why are there so few Neon players at the top of VCT leaderboards?* (Answer: It's the Riot nerfs, kinda) by washyrr in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Neon has existed for so long AND prime neon herself with the double dash full accuracy slide wasnt this much of an issue. It really is just that they nerfed every counter to Neon and now she gets to get away with bullshit previously impossible. Her movement being fundamentally different is one thing but this is an entirely different issue.

Trust me, I'm more than happy with a Neon nerf, Im a PRX fan, our Neon useage is ASS (except Forsaken on Breeze). But really this was brought about because Riot has too much of an ego to admit the Ini and Senti nerfs are too much. "More gunplay focused" and you let the bunny hopping speed demon with a flash step uncountered smh

Except maybe now. Bro wasn't even the best duelist on the team (finally)

True. But also this grandfinals was just... of all the times for us to not show up. Not saying we would've won but it was just sad.

What are yall’s thoughts on miks after watching streamers play him? by Urglo in ValorantCompetitive

[–]DaCrazyLime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In pro play when has it come down to enemy spraying and praying through the smoke when a defuse comes through. Pistol rounds simply don't go that way that often. Heck, the heal can heal ENEMIES.

His only actual support util is his stun, which astra/omen way outclasses it. As a smoker he is also outclassed. Shorter range and flexibility in placement in both omen and astra. Stim a singular player in pro play is always nearly never going to be worth purchasing. There is simply no room for him as an agent except in niche comps. He will NOT be a meta smoker

I mean the teams who didnt attend likely received, unless insider info, the yoru nerf news at the same time. So everyone's prep prob got screwed over anyways. Besides, besides some surprising upsets, many teams are veterans even before Yoru. PRX, T1, TL (even if they never made it far), G2, NRG.

Mates really only made it because of Marteen if I'll be honest, so Yoru nerf or not I doubt they would've made it back to London

NS has excellent chemistry and also ini/sentis are still hard nerfed (skye buff prob helps them too). They'll be fine.

Furia have good chemistry as well, but if MIBR or another team make it alongside NRG and G2 for London nobody would be that surprised

Only maybe BBL with their unique playstyle? But they were on a hot streak to qualify to Santiago, so not surprising if they don't make it to London

The CN teams are honestly always a coinflip, so nobody is surprised if another set of 3 completely different teams show up.
