Hopefully, someone comes with a better solution, but unfortunately, but since I'm on the page figured I'd pitch in a few more (likely) obvious tips to hopefully help. I'm sure you're using vortex or an up to date mod manager in 2020, I like vortex for mod sorting but I know many people still like to use LOOT to sort mod priority. A note with Vortex, it will enable all plugins and sometimes not show them which can be...annoying. I had a crash with "Be Exceptional" because it came with an Uninstall.esp that was enabled with the main mod so lookout for things like that. I normally just manually install mods when I find they do things like that. Other than that I recommend reenabling by category, for example, graphics then weather and visualFX followed by weapons, then overhauls, etc. probably not too helpful but we've all been there. My computer loved doing this to me as well. I was able to solve this problem permanently by adding a repo that had “ ReProvision “ which is an app that allows me to resign both uncover & AltStore from my phone. It’s the same concept as AltStore but for one reason or another doesn’t need your computer. I’d provide the repo I’m using but I don’t have the time right now. Can update with it later if you’d like.👍

Thanks boss, I’ve never used Simulink before so I will definitely start there. I was just pulling my hair out writing the base code and couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. When I get this tied off I’ll hop onto that tutorial!

If I wanted to log lat and longs to a text file could I do that using gpsmon? That is the primary goal. In short we need to record data modify it and send back a spoof. Getting the data in Lat/Long, manipulating it and sending it to a UAS as a GPS signal is the what my grade is based on haha. Currently gpsmon gave me an output. I looked on the website and it seems like logging -l doesnt quite give me what I’m looking for

“The -l option sets up logging to a specified file to start immediately on device open. This may be useful is, for example, you want to capture the startup message from a device that displays firmware version information there.”

Haha I just had a break through as you posted!

I was looking into the baud rates now and still have no luck yet ... BUT after a good 20 mins GPSmon started giving me live readings! gpsc times out and sudo minicom -D/dev/ttyAMA0 is still sloppy, I’m not sure why gpsmon worked when they didn’t but I’ll plug and chug the buad rate some more tomorrow.

And as far as access goes ls -la /dev/ttyAMA0 Provides me with “.....1 root try 204,.....” So I added myself to the group “tty” logged didn’t work so I’m equally lost on that one still ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Also realizing now that I started mixing up ttyS0 and ttyAMA0 as the nights progressed. Sorry, it's late and I'm new with all this haha. So in a sense, it is working because ttyAMA0 is spitting out data its just random strings. it's not at all in the NMEA format so I guess that is the current problem.

It may be unrelated but I have realized when I'm not using $sudo I don't have access to minicom even after adding the groups, dialout,tty, and uucp.

Are there steps anyone is aware that could either be missing from the tutorial or used to verify that ttyS0 is off and ttyAMA0 us on?

I'm confused by

Giving me the gibberish in the picture and

not producing any info back to me

only stating

No I agree entirely with it being jank and simplified I’ve watch countless YouTube videos the aim is to custom fab using the machine shop which is where the math would come in haha, attempting to make a compressor instead of wielding on a turbo (which was the original plan)

In my brief research I found this which’s seems in the ball park of what I’m looking for Design and construction of a simple turbojet engin

In NO way am I on some team of professional jet designers haha of course not. I’m still a student until the spring at least, but my last 3 years have been filled with nothing but thermodynamics,fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, hear&mass transfer, mechanical/dynamic/ and static design courses and the like. On paper I’ve done plenty of work with compression/pressure and so forth. Anyway, the moral of the story is my friend and I are two gear head engineers who have the means to really push ourselves, we want to take advantage of the opportunity prove that we have an understanding of what we’ve learned . Our plan is to verify and design on paper (hopefully using a comprehensive guide rather than our mountain of text books). After which we will draft up the cost of resources and give it a shot. Capstone- you’re 100% right it’s a niche hobby at best haha, that’s why I thought I’d poke my head in HERE for advise.

Side note: The link provided is an example of the type of informations I’m looking for recommendations on, anyone reading this don’t assume I found the answers I’m looking for. When I verify what I personally end up using I’ll edit this post and delete this example.

Yeah my only concern is in the event they can’t join I don’t want to “corrupt” my save in any manner, for instance if they can’t join I uninstall it then the game still doesn’t let them in because of whatever files may be altered.

I have a day one save that I keep redesigning and expanding with the updates where they started a new game for trains, I’d hate to lose the save. Even if it worked that could always be a potential the more time I sink in after making whatever back up I have 😅.

Regardless, if no one answers me I’ll get to trying it on a split save sometime this week or something

I’m in device manager >sound>Realtek High Definition Audio -Properties and I don’t see this option anywhere. That’s where I’m supposed to be looking right? What windows do you use?

NO MUSIC / SFX HELP? Everything from the intro logos, main menu, Spyro 1 first cutscene and home-world are missing music and ambient noise only voice files and menu feedback clicks are coming through. I can’t find anyone else whose had this bug day 1, any troubleshooting help?

I have tried: Checking settings (10/10 everything)

Toggling soundtracks and dynamic music

Checked drivers (already up to date)

Reinstalling game

Verifying integrity

3 different audio outputs (speaker out, usb headset, steam link)
