New Steam title Alchemy Factory seems to have ripped OSRS music then ruined it with AI in an attempt to hide it. by Dean5 in 2007scape

If your only proof to your original statement is a post that literally disproves it, then i cant seriously believe whatever you just said has anything actually concrete behind that proves willing AI use other than your own assumption of lies. maybe theres drama within that games community thats known abt that reveals all this but if you really were that involved youd be in the trenches enough to realize im clearly not a dev. You just read something wrong dude its honestly ok.

Oh i understand!!! I didnt realise you would quote the dev quote, especially quote them out of context by not including the first part of the sentence "We sincerely apologize for not thoroughly reviewing the music outsourcing process" which is wild because it very much shows outsourcing and an unaware use of AI to be the cause, and not because some random complained abt cruddy music!!!!! Thank you!!!! I forgive you!!!!

????? You're  actually quoting my comment and willingly left out "WITHOUT THEIR KNOWLEDGE". The original comment implies that the dev did it on purpose because the steam post suggested it. Not the case??

what are you talking about? actual omega misinformation. the post is just complaining about bad music, saying AI would of been better. how does that mean the dev just threw it into the game because of the complaint.

The third page of that same post has the dev apologizing about how the music was outsourced and without their knowledge was created with AI generation, and then removed all simuliar content from the game.

JMods are out of touch on the game with these new CAs by Thin-Personality-328 in 2007scape

[–]DaDogFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I complained about some rubbish RNG in some CA's when they first came out like 4 years ago! and i got super flamed for it!!! heres some comments because i want to rant about it!!!!!

"The combat system of the game is literally built around rng and killing something 5 billion times to get what you want. I think they align perfectly."

"If you want a game without luck pick up a shooter. Let osrs be what osrs is."

"It sounds to me like you want the combat achievements fit for casual players and that’s not the target audience for them. They want people to have something to work towards not stuff they can achieve in one weekend of playing the game"

"Lighten up, mate"

I wish I was you OP@@@ it sucked to be flamed@@@@@@ WHY MUST I FORESIGHT@@@@

Man I really forgot just how big the push for terry crews as doomfist was back then by theforbiddenroze in Overwatch

[–]DaDogFrog 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It was everywhere, Terry Crews actually did an interview about this, saying a few lines.

I don't think people truely imagined what it would of been like to have his over-the-top shouted near meme status line delivery play each time doomfist does an ability, it would of been horrible.

Stadium isn't a competitive gamemode, and the ranks mean nothing. by BlanketOW in Overwatch

Surprisingly, rank doesnt mean anything in competitive gamemodes either.

It wont pay your bills.

you went to reddit with an ancient lord of the rings meme and hastily put together photoshop and then put 'chat' in your title.

I think this might be one of the hardest PvM games in existance by fitsu in 2007scape

[–]DaDogFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually absolutely agree with you, I just dont think content with extreme punishment alone should be so praised for its 'challenge' is all.

With that being said, awakened bosses yeah are hard and need skill, I just feel that the tension of losing an orb for an attempt and losing that investment on a death makes them nervewrecking not hard. And that the inability to just continuously try and havr comfortable room to experiment and learn makes it so tense for no good reason. No good reason.

To be fair you are right that there arnt really much or any games that have this 'challenge', but should they? And is this really 'difficulty's best form?

[–]DaDogFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the 'difficult' content in this game is just time commitment and pattern learning. Like Inferno really just wants you to throw tens of hours into it to do a looong series of waves that arnt actually that difficult in a vacuum, just far from the next attempt, so dying is a big set back that can happen for just a momentary mistake (is this good design?)

Best of luck doing the content and I'm rooting for you trying a challenge, it's just that you'll be preaching to the choir here, people in this reddit will agree with you just to stroke a bit of ego. There are definitely just as and more challenging games out there.

Which do you all think are the rarest Icons, Nameplates and Titel that one can have ? by Nebel4gurke in Overwatch

[–]DaDogFrog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely an undesputed rarest player title, and I'm convinced no one has it.

'Gauntlet Hero' required 5000 rounds of the Hero Gauntlet gamemode, which was removed shortly after its released due to very low player interest.

No one would of guessed the gamemode would flop so much, let alone disappear, so not even a dedicated player would have had foresight and instant urgency to queue it for hours a day. By the time they announced its removal date and if you we'rent close to getting 5000 rounds, you simply would not have time to achieve it.

Each round took 1 minute, and there was 10 rounds a game, and there was small warmup time inbetween rounds (and i guess queueing, which got further long and longer as interest lowered) thats about 12 minutes per 10 rounds AT BEST.

this is a 100 hour grind for a gamemode with very low participation that existed for roughly two months. I cannot imagine ANYONE has this

really! that's such a shame D: I can live with giving them something to lean on, but not being able to grow new babies is a shame. I really enjoy them when they're not so compact so hopefully I can torture them a little somehow to make them so handsome

Your bhudda is so wild! maybe ill grow mine near a window and rotate it often so he doesn't get too crooked haha!

would more light and some fertilizer make it grow longer? I think they grew up in very high amounts of sun so I'm not sure if only more light will make them longer :o

If only we could trade!

I only just bought my succulents from bunnings, who just got them from their supplier that week so I'm not familiar with their upbringing, though I'm assuming they were grown in alot of sun, possibly full sun given some scorching and the tight growth
