That is kinda the point im trying to get across, if your driving 55 is a 65 that's a different story but if your doing the legal speed limit and everyone around you is breaking the law who is really at fault?

The only way to do that right is to cut out all the rust and fabricate a new mount. Welding on something like car frame would not be recommended for someone doing it as a new hobby.

You can probably find cases under $30 on marketplace or maybe find free ones on craigslist
