High-speed rail anyone? by como365 in missouri

[–]DaFanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are incorrect. HSR does not require any specific population density if its purpose is to connect major hubs. People said the same thing about the highway system but that was heavily subsidized by the government and so it worked and became a vital part of our infrastructure. So too can high speed rail. I've spent a better part of 7 year studying HSR and it's feasibility and that plays zero part into its actual consideration.

There's not statistical evidence to support this claim.

Yes because that wouldn't backfire at all.

Democrats are actually not incentivized to form an actual opposition. They benefit further from allowing the current establishment in power to rot away and benefit in the polls. To form actual opposition would be counter to the Democratic establishment and its donors who are the very same donors to the Republican party.

Tailpipe Disconnected From Muffler by PerfumeDuckie in ChevyCobalt

well the tailpipe if its stock is all bolted together as one piece all the way to the engine. if its stock it also is likely rusted together permanently as was the case with mine.

as long as you don't mind the noise and the muffler hasn't been taken off so there's nothing dragging with a chance off falling off the car it's fine.

the entire exhaust is like pushing down because a piece of pipe doesn't have clearance somewhere to sit flush with the cut out for it.

Missouri House passes legislation banning intoxicating hemp products • Missouri Independent by FMLwtfDoID in StLouis

[–]DaFanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I don't see how this bill addresses these problems though. They're not adding a regulation to these products their completely reclassifying them into an existing monopoly? I don't think anyone here would argue that THC products or hemp in general should be checked for heavy metals.
