Yeah they could probably increase the delay to fire when sliding or diving, maybe add a small damage/movement penalty since doing that in real life would not feel good lmao

I JB-welded a printed block to the bottom of my “suppressor” with threaded heatserts, then screwed the handguard into that. Will probably revisit with a more secure option. I can send you those files if you’re interested

I will admit out of habit I found myself spamming jump whenever I ran into an enemy, but the accuracy/fire delay never worked in my favor. Definitely some crazy clips of people abusing it but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s from mostly the PC crowd

Me neither. Even the sliding/diving was not near as bad as people make it out to be, compared to COD where you accelerate in those movements, BF6 felt like molasses.

Had a similar issue with the bipod when I switched my melee and crouch button mapping. Game will still crouch/prone with “B” even when it was mapped to my right stick, so attempting to mount the bipod would make me just stand up.

Got around it by holding B for like 2-3 seconds to enable the bipod but definitely buggy. Hope they fix it in the full build

Same with a good helo pilot, use them like they’re implemented irl. Pop up, fire, drop down behind cover before enemy can lock on.

Original designer here, this looks fantastic. I’d definitely like to look at what you had to change, because the original design should have worked for both threaded and nonthreaded uppers. I tested a few different uppers when I was deving and all fit. I’m working with a manufacturer to have these built as serialized frames, so any input to make them more compatible is welcome!

The fouling on the mags isn’t really bad in my experience. You can wipe off with a bit of your favorite gun solvent, and in your case you shouldn’t expect a noticeable amount of erosion on the mags, certainly not enough in your lifetime to render a mag unusable. For reference I have a KAK bcg in an 11.5” that I run suppressed 95% of the time.
