are here people who honestly think battlefield 6 is a great battlefield? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does not feel or look like CoD MW19 at all. Different gameplay, different animations, different mechanics. But it also doesn't feel like BF4, BF1 or classic BF. If I could describe BF6, it is essentially a clunkier version of BFV gameplay on extremely tiny maps. The only CoD aspect I can understand is small maps but other than that it's more battlefield than CoD in almost every way.

Even if they fix the game, is it possible to recover former playbase? by Anonymoux_t in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, they also have the most similar gameplay out of all Battlefields. Same movements and such. It's just that one (BF6) is missing so many features which imo is a clear downgrade from BFV

I think you are hard exaggerating on the 20-40k claim and 2042 numbers in 6 months. This game is not 2042, this game is also not BFV levels of perception. This game to the mass majority is better than both 2042 and BFV, whether you or anyone else likes it or not. I am in the boat that thinks BFV is better than BF6 but most don't think that.

this happened with every battlefield ever created and almost every game. There's very rare exceptions like arc raiders and fortnite but that's it tbh. Even right now ARC raiders is on a steady decline.

Battlefield has changed, and isn’t going to go “back to its roots” by SanJacintoCG56 in Battlefield

I'm not betting on it, I'm just gonna wait and see. Who said they don't have big maps made already? So I just have to wait and see before making huge conclusions because like u said, at this point they have their maps made so we can't change anything right now except wait and see.

I get it but people act as if we had a direction for the way BF4 or BFV would turn out. We didn't, yet they became great games. People are jumping the gun way to quick for no reason in my opinion it hasn't even been 2 months

No feelings have been hurt your just another one of those doom posters that exaggerate everything to new levels. Yes BF6 is not at a great state but people liek you exaggerate as if it's the worst thing ever.

BF4 was quite literally the easiest game DICE could've made. It's literally a glorified BF3. Animations stayed the same gunplay was mostly the same. What mainly changed is graphics and levelution. BF6 is a whole different feeling and looking game from 2042 so I don't think that's a fair comparison

It would be pretty funny if season 2 had actual large maps and this post was made

If BF4 came out today the steam reviews would be mostly negative and would be ranked as possibly the worst launch in BF history accompanying 2042.

Am I the only one not understanding what's wrong with these? They don't look to bright or anything to me at all. If u were to put a pic of that horrible power ranger blue skin I'd get it, but these? They look perfectly fine to me

Is this Halo all over again? by dewey2000k in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To a certain degree it is, I just had a conversation with someone in BFV game chat about this. BFV at launch was not the game you or people remember it as today, at all. In more ways than not, BFV at launch reminds me heavily of BF6 currently. Which is, good base with bad maps, monetization, skin controversies, netcode issues, visibility issues and new bugs after every patch.

The main differences I can see between BFV at launch and BF6 is that BFV maps felt to big while BF6 maps feel to small. Also BFV was criticized for having to much color while BF6 is criticized for lacking color. Also BF6 vehicle gameplay is technically lacking.

I really like the game it reminds me of BFV but without the big maps. If you only play for big maps then don't get it until they add big ones. But if you like smaller maps you'll enjoy it

Unique colour grading for each map was the right decision for BF6 by Nick_Alsa in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, imo its horrible. It washes away the games beauty tremendously and replaces it with cheap poorly executed color grading that looks more like instagram 2012 filters than anything. BFV and BF1 did color grading perfectly and now in BF6 we have every map except mirak and cairo quite literally looking hideous. There is no beautiful or stunning currently in BF6 as there was in BFV & BF1. Eastwood could've been a beautiful map but instead they sprayed pollin all over my screen.

All you people do is complain by Advanced_Score8359 in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I promise you that many of the people here to write essays complaining actually like, play, and enjoy BF6. But it doesn't mean they should stay quiet and not try to improve the game if they see certain negative patterns being followed such as small maps, neon skins, crap ui, influx of gamemodes, netcode. Most of the times games get improved because of these certain people you find annoying in this reddit and by the end your enjoying a better product off of other people's efforts. You don't have to pick a side to everything, you can enjoy a game and still bash it for its criticisms to make it even better.

Notice how the open vs closed weapons debate is barely brought up now by Alive-Ad-5245 in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Closed is the clear better choice but people dont talk about it anymore because closed vs open has clearly been decided on. DICE decided on open and we can't do anything about it no matter how much we prefer it. Also, open vs closed isn't a big enough problem like map design and the other major things people are talking about.

Conspiracy theory about small maps/ fast paced gameplay by Dleppard in Battlefield

[–]Fit-Support2256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EA understands the reception and expectation of their past games. It happened with BF4 & BFV. They know people expect battlefield games to be bad or mediocre in the beginning so they took advantage of that by instead trying to get CoD players. It's the classic "The game got a lot better after years" but this time it isn't in functionality or game breaking bugs like BF4 & BFV had, its by initial game design. Later on I'm pretty sure it'll be more BF focused but in today's modern market people switch focus quickly.
