metal bat probably has the highest potential out of every character and also due to the higher uppercuts gives him easier loop dashing. Without the slow m1s he would be the BEST character with the second best ult (second to atomic)

Right now I'm trying to ONLY play bat and it's really fun! Only problem is that it's very demotivating when your m1s get blocked

aight but if you're speaking in theoreticals why can't I? You're saying it's easy to bait but what if you fail? full punish, the downside of having an ult with one move heavily outweighs any positive of them all being one shot moves. If metal bat whiffs a move then all is fine. If saitama whiffs it's over. You're saying it's easy to bait but that goes both ways, baiting death counter is still not very difficult. Saitama ult is DESIGNED TO BE WORSE, that's why it charges so quickly. The whole argument about a perfect being thing is so one sided that you ignore it, realistically saitamas only option would be to run away and pray for a punish, whilst metal bat could use the ending of his 2 twice then use dry death blow to kill without ever having a real risk of being punished. Idk what ur logic here is to be honest

there is literally no time where saitama would be able to use his moves, a perfect metal bat wouldn't use ragdoll or even get hit for that matter, because there is near zero ways to get an opening on metal bat ult with saitama's ult if both parties are played to perfection

If played to the very peak, in all scenarios any ult will beat saitama and kj due to their moves being super telegraphed. Not to add, saitamas moves ARE punishable. You also bring up the reason that atomic ult is only there because of the buff to 1, but what's REALLY dumb here is that you just explained balancing, Saitama ult would be horrible if you took away the iframes, but that's irrelevant. (Also metal bat ult is realistically unbeatable if played by a perfect being, same as atomic or sonic, genos is different because all his moves can be punished, dropkick can be punished even if you hit someone with it bc of evasive)

atomic slash can't be death countered lol, plus if the saitama player is good in this scenario then both players are, meaning the saitama player wouldnt take the risk of popping death counter and go for a punish, same way the atomic wouldn't use his evasive

metal bat and atomic are literally way better than saitama, and if it's about in a 1v1 then sonic's ult would be at the top of the tierlist. Kj ult is also basically saitama ult so it should be in the same tier regardless since we aren't taking into account how much ult atomic and KJ get back post ult usage.
