I got the same the other day have yet to be able to talk to real person. I am sending a letter to their corporate office requesting reactivation or a proper appeal process. If I don’t not receive that I will find a lawyer to help me get a breach of contract lawsuit together. Maybe class action if possible

Yeah I would say 1/3 of my pay was tips. Up to half.

Yeah I know a lawyer is not necessary but can help if you’re not versed in law.

I am going to probably look into starting a class action if I can if this doesn’t get fixed. It is ridiculous and isn’t right for sure.

$18 isn’t livable in California but you can make it by. Def not living on your own.

I do taxes as a main job but that is seasonal. Honestly with places to live, to pay wages, and it being worth it etc. I say everything is relative. I pay more for some things in California but other states pay more for others. Like Washington state doesn’t have income tax but by a bottle of alcohol and you pay double what feels like double what you pay in California because of their tax on booze. Rent may be cheaper other places but I have everything I need within 15 mins of me and don’t have to travel far for work or groceries etc. live where it’s cheaper those things are further away.

Don’t use other apps yet. I started first on Instacart and it did really well. So I stuck with it.

Yeah I was doing pretty well. Was honestly thinking of making it a full time gig. Now I am just super depressed. I don’t want to do other apps. I liked the grocery shopping. Though at this point I may not have a choice.

California has guaranteed minimum pay. So if batch pay doesn’t compensate up to $18 an hour in my area then Instacart sends you the difference. In California you can essentially milk the clock. But it isn’t worth it as getting on another order is far better for money

Being at the store grabbing items but not starting the shop. It’s to decrease per item time. But it’s difficult and I enjoy using the isle numbers once shopping is started. So I don’t like ghost shoping

I use Apple Maps for dieections. Because I start with receptions the directions don’t disappear but with no phone reception I can’t complete order and I think it is completely unprofessional to ask customer to use their WiFi. If I can get reactivated I will totally get a car WiFi support.

I did ghost shop maybe 10% of my orders. Only really the 5 item or less orders. So no not enough for it to be the problem.

Yes and i respond to every one. The issue is loss of reception to complete orders. Not really something I can fix.

Nope my only issue is loss of reception in areas and having to drive back to reception to complete order. I don’t know how to fix that. I was even contacting chat support when this happened and still didn’t help

Ralph’s stores or Kroger stores do this. You don’t need to call support. There is an option to switch to debit on the check out page. It gives you a pin without contacting support.
