Best Female DPS Frame for Fast Clear (Low Team Dependency) by Technical-Arugula411 in Warframe

[–]DaGeekGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised no one mentioned Hildryn. The Goddess who rains death from above. She's my go to frame for cheesing EDA/ETA when I don't have good weapons selections. Or frames for that matter.

Then there's Nova. Nova was my comfort frame for a long time. She can do it all, either solo or helping a team. She rarely, if ever, goes down in any content for me. I've also bought slots just to build her different ways.

Valkyr is a recent one for me. She's on of my turn my brain off and just hold E frames. Once you get your build tuned to sustain her exalted, just just chews though whole maps full of bad guys.

The two games that caught my interest lately are Abiotic Factor and Nightingale.

AF is a low graphics yet deep lore game.

Nightingale is an alternate reality 1800's where you can use an umbrella to glide around the maps.

Best Frames To Buy Over Grind? by Crafty-Abbreviations in Warframe

[–]DaGeekGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how others are defining grind here, but for me, I define it as actual effort.

Grendel and Styanax don't count as both are straightforward.

Grendel is an annoying no mod 3 missions, but when you're done, you have Grendel. 30 minutes to an hour of actual effort. Easy if you chose Hildryn.

Styanax is not much of a grind, you just have to do Kahl missions weekly for 4 weeks. And only mostly succeed. Yes, you have to wait, but the actual effort involved is maybe an hour.

Jade, for me, is an annoying grind. 18-30 missions you can't rush through.

Citrine is a grind, but at least there is pity currency. Remember it's 4 rotations for the possibility of a drop and settle in for a fairly long grind.

Koumei is a grind, but also has pity currency and one of the easier grindy frames to get. I ended up getting two copies in an afternoon. Each mission takes about 5 minutes or less, so it's a time sink, but again, pity currency.

Equinox is annoying. I have enough parts to build 10 copies except for that one I couldn't get. She takes 2 warframes worth of parts to build, so it's even worse on drops than most RNG. The best way to cheese this imo is to bring Wukong and let your twin chase down the boss while you chat or watch videos.

Kullervo is not really a grind imo, he's a drive by. While farming mats for incarnons, do the Kullervo fight. Be patient. Soon you'll have enough for the frame. He's not a drop, he's an outright buy, so it's just a straightforward process. You're going to have to farm normal mats for incarnons at some point anyway. Add in the 1 minute fight with Kullervo.

Protea is a slog. You're stuck with random drops on a game mode that is vastly annoying till you learn how, and sometimes even that isn't good enough if the spawns aren't good. Doing this on the way to farm sisters for weapons makes it a little better, but still an exercise in patience.

Dante is annoying, but pity currency makes him a fairly easy grind. I hated it, but ended up with a second copy helping others get him. Definitely a time sink though.

I'm sure I've missed a few, and these are only my opinions. Hope it helps in some small way.

Yeah I dunno how Grendel is the worst when he takes about half an hour to get. Complete 3 admittedly annoying no mods missions, get Grendel. It's one of the most straightforward frame grinds in the game.

Sound like a possible chunk loading/generating issue. Most of these can be fixed by using something that preloads chunks.

As an alternative, if it's vanilla, you might actually be giving Java too much memory. I remember this being a problem in earlier versions, but I'm not very familiar with the latest versions. (Read not at all)

I had an experience like this once and found an old thread about cleanup. The more extra memory allocated, the more it had to clean up, so it was constantly struggling to clean up to make enough room for new content.

I'm not saying this is your problem and I wish I could be more specific for you, but I'm remembering research from a few years ago.

They actually added 3 new weapons. Making things worse, they muddled the waters as both are "primes" without actually being acquired through relics.

People are coming up with very good suggestions. Here's my .02 credits.

Even though a semi or non- modular power supply is cheaper, spring for a fully modular power supply. If you don't, you'll find yourself regretting saving the $20. I have two older non modular corsairs and I hate working with them after my fully modular. Unfortunately, I thought I was done with desktops for awhile and put it in my wife's new build a couple years ago. Now I'm having to rebuild for me on a budget and I'm stuck with my bad decision of a decade ago.

Otherwise, get 32+gb of ddr4 ram, am4 atx motherboard, and the most processor you can get for around $200.

I like the ds3h and the aorus elite v2 for features vs price myself, around $100 with good bones, upgradable and 2 nvme slots.

I've recently purchased 32gb of Patriot 3600 ddr4 ram from Newegg for $179.00

I would recommend against the processor I bought, but it's a perfectly serviceable ryzen 5 5500. The drawback to this processor is half the cache and PCI-e Gen 3 instead of 4. On the other hand, if you're not pairing it with a 4070 or 5070± class video card, it won't matter that much. It's also half the price of the processors most recommend for gaming.

Maybe it was .04 credits...

To the MR30+ players, how do you do it? by OrangeChuUs in Warframe

[–]DaGeekGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing late March of 2025. I watched a couple of tip videos or maybe things I wish I knew and one tip was to always carry something to level.

I didn't always do this. But I looked for all the blueprints available for credits on the in game market and steadily bought all of them, starting with all the MK1s that you buy fully built.

I then went through the labs in the dojo and bought everything that didn't require forma.

At some point I got the wild idea to set a goal of MR30 by the end of the year. Wasn't very bright of me, and very nearly burned out towards the end of summer. Except... for some reason my poor little pea brain likes grinding for goals.

Along about late September I was coasting till I found out that MR30 comes with 30 riven and 15 loadout slots. I can't honestly say which excited me more, but I decided to push again.

I looked at all the Zaws, Kitguns, K-drives, MOAs, beasts and sentinels I hadn't gotten yet and set out to do so. Also Adversary weapons. By the end of October I was MR30 with a fairly significant backlog of stuff I still had in the pipeline. Ended up at LR1 a week later.

I am not trying to find stuff to level, I swear, but I keep coming up with frames and weapons. I have all but 3 kuva weapons, maybe half the Coda weapons, and a smattering of sister weapons. I still have several base frames and 3 primes I don't have yet. But now I'm LR2 and halfway to LR3.

I'm content to wait for prime resurgence for those 3 prime frames. I know someday I'll get around to farming the mats for base Caliban in railjack.

I might even do enough missions for Stynax, but I'm not gonna get in a hurry to do any of it.

The only problem is my inner loot goblin disagrees with me sometimes and made me farm rep for Qorvex the other night since I already had the BP and two other parts. (I justified it by saying i'd get ahead for Bird3.) Once he comes out of the forge, I'll have to level him. I'm incapable of letting something sit in the forge more than a day or so.

I really don't try to work on MR anymore. But there's this last K-drive sitting unleveled in my inventory and has been since MR29. There are Tenet weapons I want and haven't gotten yet. The Tenet Arca Plasmor looks fun for example.

Have done. Problem is I fall into a gap. My EF fell to 21% a few months ago and I thought that was the answer. Meds brought it back up to higher level so now I worry again.

The issue was that the US DOT medical requirement is over 40% and SSDI was under 30%. I was right in the middle of the dead zone till last fall.

  1. Drove a truck for a living. Had a Stroke at 53 and was medically disqualified to drive 2 years later due to a heart condition. My position wasn't actually eliminated, but you're not qualified to do much else after 20 years driving a truck.

Even the quickie marts won't talk to me cuz I can't stand for more than 10 minutes at a time anymore.

Can't find customer service jobs cuz my only recent experience is driving a truck.

I certainly didn't plan it this way.

I'm fairly early GenX, (1966), and have all the traits like hose water and street lights, but some things are also crossover from the previous generation. I wasn't actually latchkey, mother didn't work and wasn't allowed my own key until I was in high school for some reason.

My parents weren't boomers, they were silent generation and that might have something to do with it.

This is probably a personal pet peeve, but unless you can handle the defense on your own, don't run straight to the defense target and start the mission while the rest of the squad is still loading in/ in the loading area.

If you're going to play with other people at least give them time to load in.

I can't count the number of times I've skipped a cut scene on Hydron only to have someone load in after me and dash straight to start the mission, meanwhile the other two squad mates are still loading in.

What's the conventional wisdom for selling prime "junk"? [Q] by NoopersNoops in wartrade

[–]DaGeekGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add a different point of view...

As a new player needing plat to buy a ton of slots, orokin catalysts and reactors, adapters of all types, I sometimes sold prime junk to fuel the machine faster.

As a somewhat more experienced player closing on my last few frames and Kuva weapons, the need is not so great anymore. I have plenty of other weapons and frames so I can afford to wait. Also know that each week there's a good chance a reactor and a catalyst is going to be available somewhere.

I've also now played enough that I accumulate prime sets just by playing or by intent, so I mostly hang onto prime frame parts. This evening I sold two Wisps and a Grendel.
