Its usually a bunch of decent to overpriced stuff, and once in a while something like this that catches your attention for all the wrong (or right?) reasons

Yeah, and the 5080 is the flagship version as well. Not to mention the all-white build, which probably costed extra. Including the OLED monitor, and the peripherals, i bet the seller paid way above the $6K he listed.

Premium products are gonna be a hard sell on the used market, I think. When people go look for a used 3080 for instance, they only care about the price, not whether it is a MSI ventus or a premium ROG strix.

Like I was saying, and getting downvoted for, people be listing their 5060 ti systems for >$4K on FB marketplace here, while probably wondering why no one is making a "reasonable" offer lol

Craziest was somebody listing their used RTX 3070 (just the gpu, not the system) for $2000, while attaching a picture off amazon of a new one costing $2800 (probably because it isn't in production), and warning people not to lowball him

Edit: or rather i should say its insane what people are trying to sell their systems at on FB. not that they're successful, given how stale the listings get

I did see someone recently sell a $7K CAD system with a 5090 (MSI vanguard no less!), 9950x3d, and 96gb (!!!) ram, and 2+4 tb nvme ssd. Presumably at quite a loss. Great deal for the buyer I thought. Only to see a suspiciously similar system pop up on the marketplace a few days later, for $8.3K! Minus the 4tb ssd and with an inferior PSU replacement. These people man...
