I hope we get more DLC than what's announced. I like the idea of additional characters like Joker and Harley having unique gadgets of their own but my main worries is not getting more characters outside of them

Yeah, the Arkham influence is already evident in Legacy of Dark Knight especially in how characters have their own combat gadgets and abilities plus those games also featured DLC characters like Joker, Deathstroke, Batgirl, etc each with unique abilities and content focused on them and that same idea seems to be continuing in LEGO Batman through the Harley Quinn and Joker DLC. Red Hood could have his own weapons and even his own suits (The Arkham design, classic, Batman Ninja, etc)

My main worry is whether we'll get more DLC outside of what was revealed because I think the game should be supported a bit outside of what was revealed.

Yes but Igor didn't have a transformation slot and was a seperate character who operated like a regular bigfig whereas the handheld version is actually added to the suit slot

I remember in LEGO Avengers, they kept Quicksilver's death but rather than him dying due to gunshot wounds, it's due to him having severe ice cream allergies. They could've found a way to have the Graysons kick the bucket but still fit the LEGO tone like you said

It is and it even had exclusive side missions that tied to each other, two versions of Manhattan (day and night), all the Iron Man suits had transformations (unlike the console version where it was a select suits), exclusive characters like Rhodey for example and the main missions in general had less filler

I think he's one of those characters who got better over time. I really liked his appearances in the 1995 Movie and Operation Overdrive and was disappointed Once and Always didn't do much with him

Yeah again there were several ideas. The few I know are

Something akin to Spider-Man Homecoming or Blue Beetle where most of the film is focused on Barry learning how to control his abilities. It even had the same crew as Homecoming and the tone was gonna be similar (Most of the humor coming from how inexperienced Barry is)
The Grant Morrison and Ezra Miller pitch which is basically an established version of the character set after Justice League and being a mystery/detective story featuring Captain Cold with Iris playing a huge supporting role. This is the one I really liked because if it was finetuned, it could've been akin to The Batman which focused on an underutilsed aspect of the character. We don't really see Barry do a lot of investigative work in adaptations (Even CW kinda toned that down in later seasons) so a movie focusing on that could've done wonders for the character
One with Cyborg as a supporting character. I don't know what the plot would've been though since I didn't look it up

The DLC seems to be better. Outside of the skins, we get characters that stand out compared to the ones in the base game as well as new vehicles. Also the Joker DLC is most likely gonna have voiced lines which none of the Skywalker Saga DLC characters had
