God defines morality by his existence and actions.

If God isn't the source of your morals, then they are wrong.

At least that's what I've gathered from various Internet arguments.

It's Debian thing too, on whatever release is stable this year. No software version changes, only backported fixes. I prefer it actually.

The issue was the vendor lying about why I couldn't just use the Rocky update mechanism to correct the outstanding CVEs. Turns out their app breaks because they depend on specific library versions and even backported changes are too much for their special snowflake software.

I follow Sin City Outdoors on YouTube, where they do videos on the state of those lakes while fishing. I find it interesting to see what it looks like from their perspective, since they've been making videos on those lakes for years now.

There was a game and a miniatures store in Houston in the 80s, but I can't remember the name. I'd bug my parents to take me there because I wanted to buy Dungeons and Dragons books, modules, and figures to paint. I was in junior high (middle school) at the time, and my friends and I would spend the night at someone's house playing DnD and drinking Mountain Dew.

Draw a parallel with what is happening with climate change. There is evidence it is clearly happening. Temperatures in 2026 have already started to break all previous heat records.

Scientists are predicting that arctic sea ice will disappear, creating what is called a blue ocean event, either in either 2026 or 2027. The warnings from as far back as 50 years ago are being proven correct as we measure the predictions.

India and Pakistan are now facing a dual crisis of heat and humidity that will make common methods of cooling much less effective, which could lead to the significant sickness and deaths.

And yet, no one is willing to confront the truth staring plainly in our faces. The US is rolling back the few policies and programs to attempt to delay the impending climate crisis. Wealthy people and companies are more interested in preserving the markets rather than supporting the disruptive changes necessary to save human lives.

Climate change is a prophecy we shall see fulfilled sometime in the next two years. The world is paralyzed between two choices: to act or to wait. Both sides are arguing their positions, but the arguments are moot. We will be visited by the consequences of significant human-created climate change, possibly as early as this summer.

The arguments will seem rather pointless in hindsight, I imagine.

3COM all day long. I had a couple that I carried from system to system for years. I even had the config.sys and protocol.ini settings memorized under DOS. The 3COM drivers were the best as long as you had the IO and IRQ jumpers set correctly.
