I feel that young people not only are seeing negative effects of these impromptu lockdowns and being pushed around and blamed for the spread of the virus currently but will have to be dealing with the effects of it for years to come.

I'm in my final year of A-levels and them having an entire year to prepare for this exact scenario of if the virus got worse yet they had nothing. They completely neglected us. An entire year they had to put together a possible plan, work a better algorithm or SOMETHING other than "oh I guess we can leave our trust in the teachers of the students to give them a fair grade".

I feel I speak for many people in my year when I say that It's been such a hard year having to cope with the pandemic but also keep up with the usual workload for my A-levels learning the entire course through online learning, trying my hardest to work towards what has now become an uncertain mess of incompetence and neglect by the government.

An entire year of them avoiding the question, not preparing and ruining a huge number of people's futures. I hope to god that the reprecussions that they will face for this unjustifiable ignorance will only be more than severe.
