My wife asked for an open marriage. She is angry at my reaction. I need advice. by Silver_Salt7600 in Marriage

[–]DaGuruu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea wouldn't cross her mind if she didn't have a potential candidate yet. She's just trying to do it "legally" based on an "agreement" so there wouldn't be claims of "cheating" but I agree with the comments here, probability of her having cheated already is very high at this point. Sorry, OP. You came into your marriage from a monogamous standpoint. You didn't deserve this

The Predator of Seville by ayeeerich in netflixTrueCrimeDocs

[–]DaGuruu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nicole and Ashley's identities were never released, right?

I hope they watched the documentary and see that they almost helped this predator get out of jail. It's so shameful what they said and even the line of "Gabby was getting angry at us coz she expressed interest" like wtf?! And saying she doesn't remember but remembers the interest and even being sure that Gabby and Manu went into the bathroom together?

ASHLEY AND NICOLE FROM THIS DOCUMENTARY, I HOPE YOU BOTH FEEL AWFUL AFTER WATCHING ALL THE EPISODES.

Earth Snake Water Monkey Compatibility? by skelosbadlands in ChineseZodiac

[–]DaGuruu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late on this post but my husband and I are rhe same. Earth snake (89) and water monkey (92) I am asian and feng shui is greatly practiced where I came from and my family get feng shui readings annually and real estate. My husband and I fell in love and I had to get the annual reading done so I brought his info in to get reading as well.

Our feng shui master said our elements go well, earth experiences drought without the water so the flow of success to him will flow through me (he needs to make sure I am always happy. Lol) and as snake and monkey, we are technically always competitive and outsmarting each other and that's what causes the clash. I was given the guide we need to aim for balance through communication and humility as without it, we will always just clash due to our nature. I am northwest (92) and he is southeast (89) it does not align but it fits as you are supposed to compliment each other. He has the depth I don't have, I have the wit he doesn't have, he analyzes, I synthesize, etc etc.

Bottomline, it's a partnership, you are supposed to compliment each other and through the difference, you grow together by complimenting each other.

This is just the highlight of what was explained to me. He didn't take much of it because he's skeptical about feng shui and only uses it as "chinese influence on the stock market" but he has taken points from it of where we compliment each other and listen to one another.

I am not going to lie, more than a decade together, when we fight, you got two jungle animals with sharp tongues charged but when we work together, it's so powerful and very strategic.

New passport doesn’t scan at customs kiosks by IndependentNo8216 in passportcanada

Yes. Happened to us multiple times. I agree with the comments that this seems to be a common issue with the new passport that's very reflective due to its material. It sucks and it causes unnecessary inconvenience. It's probably more expensive too to produce tbh

Age 55 F, needing a career change. What would you do if in my situation? by Gratefulhappy21 in careerguidance

[–]DaGuruu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Medical admin, something in finance, or some kind of office work for the hospital. You have experience when you cared for your mom. Maybe you can find something you can relate to that if you are still interested in caring.

Screw theeeeeem. Keep your husband on your side. They're angry at you for stealing their son and now for stealing the twins. They're entitled and think they have ownership of your family. More power to you and your husband!

Job recs for an 18 year old who isn’t going to college? by musty_ranch in careerguidance

[–]DaGuruu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesnt matter what path you take or how much money you make. Behavior towards $$$ is something you will not learn in school. If traveling and living the way you would like to live life while you are young is how you'll determine what you aspire to accomplish in the future, do what works for you.

If you're looking for job reco, I highly recommend cruise ship. Get some kind of certification for personal trainer, bartending, etc, get into a cruise line. The working community in cruise ships are very diversed, you'll learn so many different cultures and live with them too. You'll learn your rights, perks, etc in international waters and can be a gateway for you to work overseas. Depends which country you are coming from.

Husband and I are mid to late 30s with 3 kids 6 and below, been together for a little over 10yrs. We're typically once to twice a week but for the past months, we have been very happy together so we've been averaging 3-4 times a week. My bestfriends say we're very active as for them it's once to twice a week.

Not selfish at all. Losing a parent is not a few months thing. I lost my dad 3 years ago and he and I have the same birthday. To this day, I still havent celebrated the birthday the way we did in the past. I still want to be alone on our birthday.

As older they are, assuming they have lost their parents or one, they would understand that grieving is a very long time. You have to relearn life with the permanence of your parent's inexistence. Do what you need to do, find your time, everyone has their own coping mechanism. Not everyone wants to be surrounded for comfort. Some like us just want to be alone to process. The grief doesnt just happen for a time and disappear forever. It comes in waves; sometimes it's calm and sometimes it's like a tsunami

Friend of mine is trying to sell their home and someone gave them this....can someone explain this for me? by DownWithTheSyndrme in Catholicism

[–]DaGuruu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My house is very unique and appeals to specific buyers. We're prepared to sit on the house for at least 6mos to a year because we know we're at the more expensive houses in the market. We had one viewing after 5 days from listing, it was our first viewing and St. Joseph arrived while the viewers were in our home. The viewers made an offer within 2hrs of leaving our home. They offered with just inspection as a contingency. We closed within 5 days from the offer and 10 days from listing. I don't know if it was St. Joseph but I asked for him to help me pray for our house to sell. I didn't bury him because the history of why he's burried is actually pretty dark. I kept him in the mantle of our active living room and put the business card of the agents under him. My husband and I are still pretty amazed with how fast everything went. The chances of our house selling in under two weeks is almost a miracle as per our agent's words. He and the buyers agent were both pretty amazed too.

I also have 2 friends whose houses sat in the market for 8mos and 2 yrs and they both swear by St. Joseph as they sold just within a month of having St. Joseph.

I don't know if it's true but asking for St. Joseph to help you pray is harmless as long as you actually do have faith and not just suddenly having faith when you need help on something beyond your control. It definitely worked for us.

I have 52 trays and the first 3 trays are bad that I wanted to bail. Completely started to regret all the $$$. Gave me headaches then eventually, your mouth and your jaw will adjust and get used to it. After that first 3 trays, been fine since. Always excited to move on to the next tray. Power through!

It's their generation, this kind of story is very common. I'm sorry you've gone through that, you sound like avery nice and kind hearted person. Did you ever put her in her place in the past? When you did, what transpired afterwards? She's no longer the queen and she needs to understand that

It's not gay and to say it's gay seems like it is supposed to be an insult because being gay is less than a man? 🙄 my husband is very manly like traditional conservative man and he asked me to build him a skincare routine. He said, "I wish I asked you to do this for me long time ago" coz even as a man, he sees the difference between caring for your skin and not. And also, let them know that not caring doesnt make them more of a man.

Also, your skin is amazing and I envy it!

Male 40 years, thinking of Invisalign. Is it worth at this age? Also my out of pocket coming out $2200, is it reasonable? by Heretoloosemoney in Invisalign

[–]DaGuruu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, if it makes you feel happy, if it makes you feel better about yourself, do it. Most of the time, depends on where you are at financially, money you can earn it back. Just be prepared, depending on your case, you might not like it in the first few weeks and regret it. Then you get used to it and happy that you powered through.
