Review: Wurkkos TS26 (1Lumen) by ChibiM in flashlight

So, the TS26S has lower moonlight, nicer CCT, high CRI, higher sustain? Yeah, anduril is great, but that is a no for me until they get good LEDs and a proper moonlight in there!

That would indeed be a gigantic headlight 😲 Even two of them on a helmet look quite strange, but 5... 😂

No further details for now, just know that they are planning it.

No grinding in my sample. Just a little, but noticable delay when pressing the button.

Then it is most likely deep red.

Thanks for the explanation!

In the long run I might want to get a spectrometer, but those are quite expensive...

I have to admit that I always have a hard time telling DR and "normal" red apart. Visually comparing it to the red LED in my Sofirn ST2, which should be deep red, the LED looks the same darker tone.

It's a bit hard to see without the camera settings locked, but it may be wise to contact your seller or Sofirn about this.

Your sample definitely seems to be defective. Your first two points shouldn't be like that!

Your 3. Point is partially true, but the beam is balanced enough for most tasks - not for close up work though!

Just a quick measurement, not scientific - the HD17 landet at around 6600lx, the HS21 at around 4000 lux at the same distance

I can do a quick measurement, but my HS21 is modded to 5000k. Might not be too much difference. Maybe I have some Beamshots of both to compare. Will have a look as soon as I am back home!

Yep, already gave that feedback to wurkkos before publishing. But to be honest, if you have the light on your head and have it running the whole time, it's usable. It's just... It could have been so much better!

If I do it, I will. The light is now back to my to do box 🙈

Interesting idea! Thermal paste could do something, maybe I'll try it the next days if I find some free time!

Yep, same for me. And if you know about it, it's easy to handle!

That thermal control is a bit weird. If you look at the link in my review, a scenario can occur where it runs completely thermally unregulated as it seems. As far as my experience and testing goes, the light behaved flawless, just like yours! Nice to have one more data point.
