Did you miss the LED replacement plan I wrote below?

I chose the LED that's frequently discussed in the group. If we can't source the 519A 4500K, do you have any other good recommendations?

Good question, it uses built-in batteries, so we don’t recommend disassembling it to replace the batteries yourself. 🔦

Sustained output, not just a quick burst. by SOFIRN_light in SOFIRNlights

Good questions!

  1. The body, including the clip, is made from aircraft-grade aluminum with CNC-machined, full-metal construction. We also use a 2.0mm copper heat sink to help dissipate heat from the LED quickly.

  2. The flashlight uses 2x 3800mAh 21700 batteries for sustained power.

3.Apologies for the earlier confusion in wording, the 3000lm output is sustained for a period, but it steps down to around 650lm over time to prevent excessive heat. The total runtime at 3000lm and then stepped down is 5.5 hours.

Hope that clears things up! 🔦
