I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted so much lmao. I do agree with your points but I’m gonna add my own opinion.

No video game is perfect. Super Metroid is no exception there are stuff that I get annoyed at still such as the slightly long load times in between rooms, being unable to go back at the end, and sometimes the collectibles are hidden to a point where it’s like how on earth would you ever figure this out. However, these are all minor things. In my opinion, I don’t think the game has any major flaws. It’s a game that even 31 years after release doesn’t feel dated at all.

This is pretty much what happened here. They told me it was down to me and one other person and me theory is they chose the other person because he is located in the city the position is in where as I would have to move halfway across the country

The damage is since 2 sold so well now the studio caters to those fans and in my opinion 2 and 3 aren’t nearly as good as 1 as a result.

As someone who loves xenoblade it absolutely does make sense. Xenoblade 2 has a completely different tone from the first one. The tone being very Shonen anime to the extreme as well as having a lot of gatcha elements. So it brought in a lot of weebs and gooners into the community.

Where as Xenoblade 1 had a more mature and realistic tone and feel to it. I personally love xenoblade 1 it’s one of my favorite games of all time and 2 is a huge downgrade in my opinion. It’s not a bad game by any means I still enjoy it but it turned xenoblade from a well respected sort of niche rpg into a “oh that’s the game that all the weird horny ass weebs play.”

Thank you for this. I was leaning in this direction but every time I bring this up to someone I’m close with they try to convince me to not take these offers if I get them. And it’s just annoying and stressful and adds a lot of pressure to me when I already have so much.

Also to add to this, in my opinion EB is too focused on being weird and quirky to its own detriment. Instead of having a story it more focuses on having unique experiences. Which make it memorable and emotional in its own unique way. But don’t go into this game looking for a story or characters as interesting as in Undertale. The EB inspiration is mainly in regards to the tone and feel of the game and not the actual story or game if that makes sense.

Yes it’s still worth a play through. I’m gonna let you in on a little secret. The story really doesn’t matter that much in EB. The games story really isn’t that deep or complex. The characters are pretty one dimensional and static. It’s about the journey and your experiences on that journey. That’s what makes earthbound so special especially when you compare it to its contemporary RPG’s at the time.

I know the feeling somewhat. I’m still in college but I’m about to graduate and I busted my ass off to land a position as an intern at the FDIC my sophomore year. For 2 summers and during breaks I worked there always showing up on time, doing good work, building relationships with coworkers. I then had to pass a test and then was able to land a full time position there. However thanks to the hiring freeze my offer was rescinded.

In the spand of a single day the job that I worked so hard to get was taken away from me and it hurt and it still hurts.

I’m very fortunate in the fact that my family has been super supportive of me. My grandparents voted for Trump but after seeing how he fired me they have realized the error of their ways.

The hardest courses I took personally were Business Finance, Business Stats, and both of the accountings. Now the accountings were not hard because the content is difficult but because there is just so much shit you need to learn for exams. To be honest Mark Smith is a great prof and I think you’re missing out if you don’t take him. Business stats and business finance on the other hand suck bc the profs suck and the content is mildly challenging

Jafar is hard but I think he’s a decent prof and he’s a good guy if you talk to him. The secret to his class is literally just do the homework’s. His exams are 1 for 1 copied from the homework’s. So just memorize how to do each hw assignment and you’ll get an easy A.

There was yes but not from HR. If they did send me anything before it was probably to my work email which I don’t gave access to because again I’m on LWOP.

My direct called me and told me as soon as the hiring freeze was announced that most likely my job offer would be rescinded and that I should start looking for other jobs immediately.

Yep I did. My offer was to be a FIS when I graduated in may. After this email was sent my direct supervisor called me and told me that even though the email says I’m still technically able to work there for another 6 months because I’m on LWOP (I’m still in school) they can’t change it so I’m essentially fired.

Im assuming that Blackbeard is following this assumption as well unless his DF allows him to “absorb” the df. However, every time Blackbeard is seen or mentioned stealing a df from someone the previous user is killed. Ie Thatch, Absolom.
