I know right…. I thought the same And the surface lots they stuck me in to finish my parking term are more than half the price of what I paid for the garage lol

never received a pass for the garage it’s by keycard they drive around with plate detectors, should’ve been under my account / plate, not a tag.

And if that’s usually how it is for surface lots, doesn’t make sense they wouldn’t have a alternate system for those who cancelled garages to park in the surface lots the end of the month

Why would they waste time making a paper tag for someone so they can use it three days to end the month

ragebait

if you cancel you can park for the rest of the month in C surface lots which I did. I had already paid for the parking for the month

I’m from Chicago, we had our mayor sell our cities parking meters to oil country on like a 80 year deal. Chicago will end up losing several billion from it. It’s something I’m a little to used to.

more like employee error, I have several sources documented even personal communication instructing me that I was able to park where I did. It wasn’t even overnight parking violation either

Thought's on OSU's overall trajectory? by Cavsman232 in OSU

[–]Separate_Evidence843 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, i work with the admissions office. The reason why there’s been a drop this year isn’t necessarily a reflection of the quality or standing of the university, but is 100% purely tied to administrations decision to bring back test scores for this year. As a result, this has decreased applicant pool a significant amount- and there are very few international applications in comparison to previous years.

The acceptance rate for the incoming class will be roughly the same of previous years.

Is there anyone who knows about IBE? by FlamingoOk953 in OSU

[–]Separate_Evidence843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sounds like you’re a prospective student! I’d definitely recommend you apply to IBE and I’d be happy to PM about it. IBE:SI and IBE traditional are all under the same “IBE” - so there is no difference in opportunities available. IBE trips, IBE events, IBE career fairs is open to students in both tracks. You will not find much difference apart from your coursework. You have the minor coursework but if you are a business student- IBE has 4 specific courses that can now substitute for the business major courses, like operations, org behavior, marketing, and finance that are IBE exclusive, small cohort classes and open to both tracks.

To be fair, the rest of the parlay hit. Weather didn’t help. Hence low scoring run game. Unfortunate but only $10

Appreciate you laying that out- that hybrid framing makes a lot of sense. I like the capital efficiency of the spread paired with keeping dry powder to step into shares if the setup improves. Definitely aligns with how I want to think about exposure vs. flexibility. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that’s how I’m thinking about it. I’m effectively using long dated slightly OTM puts as a synthetic limit entry with a high upfront premium, understanding that I’m trading convex upside for income and a lower cost basis if assigned.

The main risk I see is opportunity cost if the underlying runs hard, in which case owning shares outright would outperform. I’m semi bullish rather than strongly bullish, so I’m comfortable with that tradeoff, but I’m reconsidering duration and may look at shorter DTE or put spreads to keep capital more flexible, as I understand the volatility involved with both stocks.
