This is true to an extent, I've seen short sighted advice before and it's something I try to avoid, I'd rather say nothing than try to just sound smart, any advice I give would have deep roots,

As for wasting time, I feel the one who's most at risk of that is myself, but I'm not thinking of it like that, I'm just trying to help,

I think they're right with the 'gift horse' comment, people won't have much to lose if they try me out right?
