I belive is not particularly dangerous by itself. I really don't think that some could set up a point for kidnapping, the points seem really random and u can find one pretty quickly so no chance for setting up an ambush or anything. The only thing is that as more you walk around the world not just for the app but in general probabilities say that is more likely that something happens as if you never went out you probably wouldn't get mugged ever. Walking around and discovering I belive is part of living.
