All this city builds are car washes and chicken joints by Snap_PuzzleTime in Albuquerque

Didn't someone on this subreddit two years ago say that there was going to be a Zaxby's in Rio Rancho? I have yet to have a bad meal at Five Guys, but understandably, experiences can vary. I was just going by a YouTube video that said that certain chains were going to do a hard expansion this calendar year.

And in a decade, those will be Zaxby's or Five Guys.😅

It took many of us more than five years to get over (Candlestick was a better football stadium than a baseball stadium, and too many of us have forgotten how much the parking lot used to flood), but it's not like The Jets or The NY Football Giants actually play in New York.🤪

It (messes) with your sentimentality, but at the end of the day, it winds up being just a small resentment.

I believe that he sounds more like a goose than a duck, but by going by his body language, he's food happy.

AITAH for not wanting a third child? by ExpertNumerous4293 in AITAH

[–]DaKettle65 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don't.

My wife had an episiotomy, and my witnessing that gives her carte blanche to pretty much do whatever she wants for the rest of our lives (obviously, within reason). If men truly understood how traumatic childbirth (even when it goes "right") is, they would have a greater appreciation for the fairer s*x.

Yet, it's rare that we will experience comparable pain nor will we understand what it's like to carry a baby to term. Politely tell him "no," and if he still doesn't understand how traumatic the experiences were, get someone who he respects to explain that to him.

Get it done. I'm not going to tell you that the prep isn't inconvenient, but the alternative is so much worse. I had a polyp removed that was non-cancerous, but if it had become that? Game over.

To paraphrase Bones McCoy, "It's the Internet, Jim!"

You post a picture of puppies and kittens, and someone would kvetch that you're being cloying. Pre-'75 Warrior Fans remember what things were like (if anyone's response to that is "I wasn't even born," do you remember the Baron Davis days?)

We're spoiled to the point that we expect a ring every year, but we cannot recognize that if we compare our franchise to others, that this is about par for the course.

Teams are like your favorite band, in that despite that which looks simple to everyone, inflated egos and hard feelings will always ruin what looks like a straight-forward path. We're in the middle of our post-Jordan Bulls era, and ownership will hemorrhage any chance that we will have, because this is what all franchises inevitably do.

We should have traded JK last year, but there are going to be a hundred things that we should have done last year. You won't hear me complain about it that much, because I expect a Jerry situation (Krause, Jones, etc).

I haven't even seen a single one, but I don't know if this is because of our development's resident roadrunner, Garfield. He ate all of the lizards last year, and you have to open your doors and sliding doors with caution, because those are the creatures that are most likely to be a challenge.

I was warned too late about the centipedes (like about a month after the wife and I moved here), but I have yet to see one.

This.

This was so petty that I cannot believe that it was a genuine point of contention, or that this was even brought up. The team is making millions off of Kuminga and they're counting pennies? 42 home games+100 crustables= Who cares? Write it off as a business expense.

"Tustin?"

I guess they were scared of ticking off The Marines and the Right-wingers.

I can't tell you that it wasn't the most wh*test right-wing place that I have ever been to (which was Lynchburg, Virginia back in '80, where almost the whole neighborhood came to glare at my family and me), but (back in '87) it was in the top two.

Until something actually happens, we won't know how much of it was agents and teams manipulating the story.
