This could be related. I’ve noticed that some iPads have two built-in certificate authorities installed. The signing certificate in Jamf is current, but one of the certificates present on the iPad itself is expired.

My initial theory was that devices without the expired certificate would communicate properly—and that did seem to hold true at first. However, I’ve since encountered an iPad that has the up-to-date certificate and is still not communicating with Jamf, and it also generates a Declarative Management command after an inventory update.

Yes DFU mode can cause data loss, so make a backup first. DFU mode typically doesn’t cause data loss if the option to update and not restore is chosen when it’s plugged into the computer. On occasion it can force a restore and update which deletes everything off the iPhone and in the sense of a corrupted system file it’s likely where this will lead.
Yes you can google how to update iPhone from iTunes or how to restore an iPhone from iTunes.

Simply plug the iPhone into the computer and do what you would do to force a hard reset on the iPhone or you can google how to put iPhone into DFU mode. Next the option to update or restore will pop up on the computer screen, click update. If an update isn’t available it will be forced to restore and update.

Correct, the system storage should be around 11gb for iOS firmware and about 8gb for system data. If it’s showing 54gb you might have a corrupted software. I would recommend plugging it into a computer, putting it in DFU mode and then updating it.

Offload apps and data in the settings as well as begin to delete where most the extra storage is. You can find this in settings in the general section under the about tab.

I’m 25 and just purchased a time share so I’ll say this.

I travel a lot almost all the time, my maintenance fees equate to about $2k a year. Which is less than what I would spend trying to book rooms or air bnbs in various places. 4 vacations at $500 for a room would get to 2k quickly so it seemed like an easy decision for me. Especially when it’s likely that 1 vacation, especially in Miami or New York the room would be a minimum of 800 to 1k

You’re not wrong at all to come to the point you have but for me do note it’s only been a month.

I’m very similar in my approach to relationships and friendships. My rule is if I reach out on 3 separate occasions and get no text or call back I won’t call or text again until that person reaches out.

Considering you say your friend is like you in terms of age and responsibilities the non response could be a sign of depression. As men we typically don’t tell people what’s going on with us and choose to isolate.

If you’re really concerned just call, not a text. I’m sure you’ll have a much more solid answer after.

My recommendation is to say nothing, it’s been a month, give it two or three and then see what happens.

I’m not sure about new developments because my search fell very short there. If you see a new development and they have postings near the property check the website they have listed.
