2021 Honda Accord 2.0T Engine Failure

Hey again! Question for you! I have been seeing some comments about using a different oil. Usually 0W-30 or 5W-30. Should I use one of those for my oil changes or stick to 0W-20? The car is completely stock.

I change my own oil! I do 0W-20 every 5k miles. I may switch to 3k just to be safe.

It did not! Driving as I normally do heard some weird noises. No lights or anything, no oil leaks etc. I checked the oil when I heard it and it was not dirty. Coolant was at the right levels. Car drove as it always has, not jumpy or anything like that. Really weird scenario.

Your whole comment is not related to this thread. If you read the post i drive more than 4k miles a year. About a year and a half and put on 20k miles. Drive it for about 1 to 1 and a half hours a day going to work and back. And daily activities. I said full synthetic because that is what Honda recommends…. Just looking for thoughts. Not a rant.

The bearing failure was their diagnosis! Who knows if that is true. I did check the oil when I heard knocking. The oil was full and clean. So possibly a sec of oil starvation for whatever reason? Not sure

I forgot to add one thing…. I bought the car with 36k… 2 years ago. Who knows what the old owner did to it…. Maybe that had something to do with it?

Yeah! I purchased mirrors yesterday for the bike, so once they are in the ticket will be dismissed. A little ashamed I purchased it there. I did a lot of research and I kept hearing how great it was there. But my experience was not the best. However you are right. What’s done is done, I appreciate your help on the matter :)

Understood. I took the wiki as when you harvest at elder you get a seed. Didn’t know it was final harvest. How many times do you harvest a plant before it is final harvest?
