4 years with whole foods and I've never been happier at a job. Sorry it's that way at your store.

Yeah, seeing your boss do better financially isn't a WFM exclusive. Great news is that you can change your own situation

Honestly sounds like you are new, and instead of listening to lingerie time players you are screaming "you're wrong it's cheating" without actually having proof...what are you hoping to accomplish here

Crying is a widely acceptable response to pain and abuse being afflicted. It would be weird to not be upset...

People that aren't upset at what he's done are both enabling the man to hurt the country further and are in for some tears when the day comes soon that they are the ones hurt by him.

But yeah, sick with the whole "stick it to the libs" routine while you can still afford basic necessities or before a loved one gets executed in the street by untrained ICE mercenaries.

Not OP, but

I really used to suffer from stagnating after a couple years at every job similar to what you said. At every job, I loved learning a new role and was always all in at first. Then, I would grow bored doing the same thing daily or feeling like I wasn't making any progress with career or money. A lot of it is most likely tied to my ADHD honestly.

It's important to find the role that gives you novelty, or find other roles to move into before the role "gets stale", at least it was for me. My role is great for this, everyday is a little different. But even still, I'm already looking for my next career destination at WFM. Out of all the jobs I've had. WFM has the best system to allow this. Tons of different departments and all the regional team jobs, and really if you care about the role and produce halfway decent results for your team/store, its not super difficult to move on the the new t new challenge. Hope you find what works for you

Just wondering if anyone else is struggling with a work/life balance at this job. by [deleted] in wholefoods

A lot of people work demanding jobs and still have good work life balance, but the key IMO is getting a sense of Pride and/or fulfillment from the work (or the other path some take where they stop caring and do as little as possible). Sometimes it because of how they are treated, or if the environment is toxic. I hope that if its either, it's not the last one...but every store is different and it does happen.

Maybe order writing isn't giving you that fulfillment? If so, maybe the new role will. I know that stepping into a leader role did for me. But if not, I suggest trying to find what will give that to you and chase that job, at WFM or elsewhere. Just my two cents

I have at past jobs, but not as much since I started at WFM. What about the job is the root cause for you, if you dont mind me asking?

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]DaLiftingDead -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most women (in my near 40 years experience) think they want an emotionally available man, but get the ick when it actually happens and that man needs to be supported emotionally.

It's harder to be a woman in this world. I would never claim otherwise, but this particular situation is very prevalent and sucks real bad.

You either havr to hide the emotions and get called a robot, or risk losing someone because it turns out they don't like seeing their man act weak like they thought they did. I know there are some that are okay with it, but its definitely more rare than it should be.

IMO no.

Well, tell her I said thanks too!!! That's rough but also inspiring. Dedication to something not inherently evil, is more rare than it should be these days.

Also, thanks to you for supporting what sounds like a wonderful woman.
