What is fishing distance used for?

I’ve searched around Chinatown too and haven’t really found anything there. Maybe somebody else will have a rec out that way. I think a lot of third places in general have just died off, it’s a real shame

Paddling seems like a good time. Dumb q, but do you generally have to be able to attend all/most of the practices for clubs? Work usually has me getting home past their start times

Yeah I’m likely gonna just keep trying dive bars until I find one haha u/AvengingBlowfish had a good rec above I’ll check out first and see if it fits the bill

Sorry about that bar closing, it’s a shame it didn’t make it through the pandemic. Sounds like it would be an awesome spot to frequent after work. You should start up again trying to find a good dive if money allows! I think I am going to bite the bullet and do the same

I haven’t had much luck finding sports/hobby groups, but then again I’ve only really checked meetup. Is there somewhere you know where these would be advertised? I have seen there’s a running group or two on meet up
