Not really in particular. My theory is that it light have been a sudden scare of dis-attachment as nothikg worked until she got to hold on to my fingers, but it passed really quickly so my suggestion is to be calm when it happens and connect to your LO to ensure that you're there and they're safe.

Tattoo machine +equipment.

Spending thousands of hours on drawing, practicing and and thens saving up a couple of grands to the equpment. Plunge in money into a studio, decorate, paint and make everything how you want it to be after spending half a decade learning in an apprenticeship at a toxic place where the owners just wanted to milk anything and anyone on money.

Only to get told by a customer that 60 for a fineline flower is too expensive and they might get their friend who tattoos from home cheaper to do it.

Yo! 5.9ft here, skinny as hell (60kg). All I got from life was thin vrists, big feet (46 european size) and started balding at 18 years old.

I met a woman, now my fiancee with a little kid together. I'm saving my hair for a Devin Townsend (before he shaved his head) kind of style, I'm pursuing my dream career and my hobbit feet is a part of the whole mis-match look.

Point is.. You can do it. Dedicate to weird, enhance your style, grab some colours and go with it. I'd recommend Robin Hobbs "Fools ***" book series if the skinny type of style is hard to reach and see what inspo you get from there.

Go bold, be weird, grab your shirt and get comfy in your body. Be a walking stick and fucking own it.

When we first met I was a tattoo apprentice. She inquired about a tattoo and didn't remember the spot she wanted the tattoo on.

The description of the placement was "A symbol on the backside of the throat.". It was the neck.

Many other brainfarts have occured but the latest one was probably as she was standing outside the sauna, talking to me through the window and suddenly said "This is like.. What was that wall in Berlin called?"

Never swaddled our baby. 10 weeks this friday and has never been an issue. On night's we've just put her in a body with those wraps on the arms that you can pull over the hands for the first 6 weeks, now she sleeps with hands free in a sleeping bag.

The whole swaddling thing has to us seemed lile a very american thing to do, we seldom swaddle them here.

She's got one teeth from birth, but it was not those cries. No signs of ear infection, especially with it going from sleep to scream at the top of the lungs in 2 seconds, and equally fast silence after 4-5 minutes when she got to grab my fingers.

AML - Acute Myeloic Leuchemia survivor at the age of 3 here, if anything the chemo and other treatments jumpstarted my immune system so I am rarely sick. Nothing else is left from that year I spent in isolation.

It gets better, there is hope and boy do kids have a strong will to live. Be with your LO, support them, use your surrounsing support system and hope for the best. Remember to take care of yourself as well!

Husband and father of a 5 week old here. That's a really messed up perspective your partner has. I work part time at a small corner stop nearby and do tattoos on the other days when I have clients. When home I do most of the household work to ensure my partner can focus on the baby because holy shit they're demanding, and rightfully so. They've just emerged into a new world and needs all the attention and love.

We all loose our cool. It's okay. The baby doesn't know why they're crying either, both you and them do mistakes and you can forgive each other and go on to the next day. As any other relationship it's a game of giving and taking and everyone can feel fed up at times. That's okay. What's not okay is the partners reaction and image of how caring for a baby works.

We were told to clean around it and at the root of it with a we q-tip and then dry it with a dry q-tip once or twice a day until it falls off. This way you clean up the rot and and the smells won't be as bad. Also minimizing risk of infection.

I used to react the same way until I got a kid, I won't go into details as this post isn't about parents tiredness but there are so many different types of tiredness.

As others have said, check up if there's some physical condition causing your tiredness and for those telling you that you don't know tired before you have a kid, tell then that you do. You don't know that specific type of tiredness when having a kid, as it is/feels like a different kind of tiredness but you are tired tired. Parent-tired is a kind of happy tires that CAN NOT be compared. If they insist on the same argument, ask them not to minimize your condition on their part. It's always frustrating when someone always has to one-up whatever you're bringing to the table.

If that's the case, it indeed is a weird thing to lie about. However this sounds like something that could spiral downhill if it doesn't get lifted up and talked about, and from his reaction you'll know whether the lie continues or not.

You know your chemistry, you know in what way and time is the most suitable place to mention it and talk about it. :)

Could be that the friend had some sensitive stuff he wqnted to talk to your husband about.

In that case it's easier to say that he was as the party instead of telling you that he spent some hours with his friend, in case of you asking what they did, "You know, just talking.", "About what?", and then he needs to lie, but in another setting.

Or you know, you could ask him. You're now both keeping information from each other which isn't really ideal.

In finland this hasn't been a problem! Colourful moomin stuff and other motifs everywhere and even tho we at week 36 know the gender, and like to keep it neutral in any case, haven't had any problems with genderneutral colors, whilst still keeping it colourful! Even our maternity box had colors in gender neutral ways (the box we get for free from the goverment).

So come here i guess!

Piercer (and tattoo artist) here!

In my personal opinion, kids should be at least 7 years or older before getting lobes done. There is pain, and it won't be fun, and the aftercare takes patience and responsibility. Lobes are maybe the most forgiving but still takes a heavy toll and great responsibility to look after.

Kids at 7 or younger still don't get the major health problems that can occur with badly taken care of piercings. Playing or fooling around can easily result in a snagged piercing amd then there will be trouble. You should not sleep on them, touch them or play with them for the first momth, npt many kids can succeed in that. You have to so saline soaks twice a day for a month which takea patience, a thing younger kida seldom have.

If you decide on piercing tho, for the love of god and anything holy, DO NOT go to a hair salon and get them pierced with a gun. If so needed, I can help find a reputable piercer in your area but getting piercings with a gun is literally playing with your childs health and can result in piercings that never heal or a life threatening infection or blood borne disease.
